Of course there will be a new Left 4 Dead.
They just build hype.

About time. This was an awesome shooter game. With the popularity of Zombies right now I cannot understand why they have not taken advantage of the market place.

Hmmm, I bet they are going to make DLC for it so fans will demand them make the third one. I mean look at Mass Effect 3.

Personaly as long as Valve is working on games I'm happy. I could care less of when their games come out but it's good to see we still have developers like Valve making great games no matter how long it takes them.

@Ortego13 out of interest, what zombie shooters were to your preference? I kinda felt Dead Island fell a little flat. and Rezi pretty much ended up a sci-fi action franchise

@TheGreyArea You know, friend, after reading your last comment I realized that we have lots of things in common. You see, I am not married right now but I have girlfriend, although she does not fond of games but I am working on that and alredy have some progress. And when you mentioned borderlands, especially Zombie island I realise - THAT IS MY BUDDY! Really it is awsome! Moreover I am totally agree with you on l4d title cause I kanda like more to shoot zombies from the distance then to beat them close. Yeah, I forgot also to mention Dead Rising - it was fun, but nothing special (just my opinion though). And it is so interesting talking to you, so please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Oleg. I live in Russia, in Novosibirsk to be certain and I would be glad to have a foreign friend. Please, if you do not mind - could you tell where are you from and yout email - I would like to contact you to share info, just to talk and etc. I am so fond of talking to representatives of other countries. I am interesting in foriegn culture and I have a lot of info of our game projects for instance about STALKER. So, if you do not mind I would be glad to talk to you. And also, if we talk about zombie games could you please tell me your favorite zombie films. Mine are Zombieland and Land of the dead but my favorite is 28 DAYS LATER ( I also think that this film was THE insperation for l4d cause of the zombie style of motion). So I would like to hear from you TheGreyArea. Already waiting for your response! Thank you for your comments!

@Ortego13 I made my wife play as Purna for those very reasons..! Y'see, my reason for being utterly in love with the L4D series, is that L4d + Borderlands, were the games that tipped the balance for me at home, and convinced my other half to buy her own xbox and online account :) I'll wait to see what the reviews are saying about the next dead island, but I'll definitely hit-up a first day purchase on anything l4d orientated. I guess you could include the Zombie Island of Dr Ned expansion in this category... that too was one of the fullest most satisfying add-on's I've ever played. I'd love to see Valve do something with the same left4dead formula though... like, turn it into something insane and switch from Zombies to aliens. Guess we'll have to wait and see huh. good talking to you

@TheGreyArea Great,great,great! Always nice to have a nice conversation! Well, you can probably disagree with me but in my opinion dead island (as I once commented) is one of the most shining examples of zombie shooters. I agree that the plot was relatively good as as for the gameplay it is more then avarage. You see, my favorite character was Purna due to the fact that she is a gun expert and it is more preferable for me to shoot zombies from the distance. My favorite action was to shoot out the head with the shotgun and then to kick zombie with leg - looked kind of cinimatic. L4D is really cool by all aspects. And as for the Res, well, I liked fifth part but the last one is not so promising (at least it is my opinion). And I guess you are right abuot its sci-fi orientation. Actually I will definitely buy dead island riptide I wonder how the action will develop!
