Little Big Planet is a game that I had heard of but nether played nor heard really anything about before I bought it, I just picked it up at my local game store because it was only like $25 and I was on the prowl for something of the same genre and I am very glad I did this is one of the best games I've played in a very long time. It kind of starts off slow when I first started it seemed like the only point was to run and jump when there was a box in the way well after the first few levels it starts to get harder and after I found out you could even play with other people (I knew it was online but didn't know you could play with people in the same house) the fun factor increased 1000 times. This is the only ps3 game that I know of that lets you play with people in your house and online at the same time. It's the perfect game for all ages and is great to play with my wife who had previously only played the sims. As far as game play goes it a side scroller that works very well, all the levels are loaded with tons of hidden items that take some thinking to obtain. The main story is a little short but the game is loaded with online and extra levels that will keep you interested for hours of non stile game play. It also has a huge customizable character base and YOU CAN MAKE YOUR OWN LEVELS anyway you want! I can't compare the normal LBP to the GOTY because I only have the GOTY but from what I understand the normal version does not have the metal gear solid levels. Anyway to some up my not very helpful or informative review this game is very good for all ages and is a must have if you like platformers of any style!

I lost my patience with the LittleBigPlanet 2 servers which keep crapping out, and the people who keep refusing game invites, so I took matters into my own hands, and feet, to collect the prize bubbles I've been after.Posted Jan 28, 2011
