One thing that I'm happy about is that it looks like we have a protagonist here who knows how to have fun and smile. He isn't a tight*** like Niko was in GTA4.

I cant believe people actually think Godfather was better than Mafia. Mafia is a way older game, but still so much better. Godfather had terrible gameplay if you ask me, and mafia 2 will sure as hell be ALOT better game than any Godfather game that have been released, or ever will be released

Dude, it's a sin to even compare Godfather to Mafia!! Mafia is a work of art, a masterpeace!! It's like comparing Mona Lisa to the drawings kids make in kindergarten! :-)

Wow!!! Amazing graphics....just like a movie. I loved Mafia 1 and so I'm sure I will enjoy the sequel. I hope it's a game that can be played over and over again so it doesn't have to end!
Ahhh, it would be so cool to actually play in winter too(as apposed to most games that only have 1 season), if it's gonna have winter levels I'm never gonna get out of those.:)) And yeah, for those wondering what all the fuss is about, Mafia 1 is the best game I have ever seen/played so I really hope this one wont dissapoint. But unfortunately I am almost certain it will since Illusion Softworks(the company that created Mafia 1) was bought by Take-Two Interactive; so now its not gonna be about realeasing a good high-quality product(which is usually more important for a small company so it can make a name for itself, profits coming in second) but about making money. Oh well....hope dies last(which means you will die first:P ).
The first mafia RULED. I think it will be a very tough act to follow but I'll keep my fingers crossed... Godfather was nice but nowhere near Mafia which had it's very own story to tell.
I hate ignorant people that say GF 2 will be better, it's a SLAP to the movie, It butchers it completely. Mafia 1 was an amazing game.
this game looks really cool i would really like it if they put in the same cover type system that sony was using for 8-days and wher he was able to slide acrose the hood of the car that would be cool

i played a lot of games.But i never had satisfaction of having great story.but mafia was priceless in that fact.i thnk salieri will b back with a bang.all mafia fans will b luking 4 this.sure it gonna be massive hit in graphics and gameplay.but i scare if godfather2 and mafia2 releases in d same time gamers will have a great dilema in choosing the best
I remember hearing how Mafia was just a GTA clone. Then, how Godfather the game was a Mafia/GTA cone. I've played all these games, and I like all of them for what they present respectively. However, looking at GTA IV, Mafia II, and The Godfather II, they all bring their own flair and flavor to the market. Godfather II lets you be Don, so I imagine it has some squad tactics that you can employ and resource management to some degree. GTA IV is just GTA IV, 'nuff said. And Mafia II, I mean look at that cathedral! If the whole game, gameplay and everything, looks this great, then this will probably become my favorite game. I absolutely love this time era in American History.
those are all obviously cut scenes but i hope the final game is as good or really close to this.. i hope theyll have that 20s-30s music in this game and a whole lot of $#!@ to do...
