He did that every time he got a Star or Tanooki. Didn't actually help his racing, though...
Good games... Felt like I could have done better on the whole, though... Everytime I got first I got smacked out of it by a Blue Shell or shenanigans occured on the last straight... I have really poor luck with items.
Oh well.
