The Mass Effect 3: Leviathan DLC pack launches on August 28th for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
@Jshaw71 If you haven't played ME3 ... you gotta give the multiplayer a chance ... I really enjoy it. I've liked it so much I still haven't tried out the story mission.
@vbplaya I played the demo for mass effect 3, I can't see the multi player being so much better than the single player that it would keep me away from it... It dose look fun, but not that much...
BioWare should create ending where Shepard destroys reapers only reapers and at the very end he survives thats it thatis ending anyone wants.please pass this word along so they would know what we all want from mass effect 3.
what a rip of in price $14 for 700 micro points so your looking at $21 for enough points to buy it while on ps3 its only $10
Where's the download? 1:10pm Pacific Time and no Leviathan on PSN or through Mass Effect 3 Downloadable Content. People want this DLC!!
No thanks. I'm done funding EA. It's not BioWare I have a problem with, they've proven time and time again that they can make great games when they don't have their Electronic Arts Overlords breathing down their necks. Drop EA and you'll regain me as a buyer, BioWare.
my points are ready to get this :), looks cool, will download now, I hear its really good and worth it
I'm looking forward to the Leviathan DLC, but I'm waiting for Bioware to make a DLC story centered on Sheppard, Aria, and the Mercs taking Omega back from Cerberus. Bioware could make nice campaign and complete the scavenger hunt to acquire the 3 Merc groups.
Unfortunately Bioware closed the saga. The developer should live with this fact and leave it. Sorry: I'll not pay for this.
@lordbyro You know this DLC changes the ending of ME3?
@CTU22 This DLC doesn't change the ending of ME3. Do you remember? It doesn't matter the ending you choosed, Shepard dies (ok, there is that final scene where a N7 torso breathe again, but this is another story!).
So, events in this DLC must happen before the ending of ME3. Finishing DLC you back to ME3 "main story".
If Bioware had launched an expansion, we would consider something different. Considering this hypothesis Bioware would do great announcements (But BW lost the chance of doing 'mea culpa').
I loved play ME... Since 2008! It was my 1st RPG (Today, is my favorite gender). At that time ME was not yet so famous and, I supose, the BW Team could create freely, without the market pressures, you know?
Yeah, kinda don't care anymore. Know how it ends so this doesn't float my boat. Hope those that DL it enjoy it though.
I'll still play this, but one thing that bugs me about DLC is that there is no new dialogue for your companions, and it seems like its pretty much just Shepard and Steve in this one.
It will be nice to try but I am too lazy to complete the lasts missions AGAIN just to see a slightly expanded dialogue with starboy. :(
Would be cool of Leviathan turned out to be Gabe Newell holding the galaxy out on a much desired sequel of some sort.
Too be honest, this is not up the standard that I expect from BioWare, does not look good at all. Just looks boring.
Even if this does have some mind blowing explanation as to who the reapers are and their true origins and such I find it will feel weird because this DLC takes place before the final fight on Earth and Shepard mentions nothing of this in the game. So basically its going like: Shepard does the Leviathan DLC, goes to earth and mentions nothing of it, then gets to the end and mentions nothing of it as well when he/she makes the final choice. At least with Shadow Broker and Arrival those took place after the suicide mission but when I played Kasumi and Overlord for the first time it just felt strange since I had finished the suicide mission.
If this is a clever implementation of the Leviathan of Dis, then I'm quite down for this DLC.....which I won't get until its really, really on sale.
Is this DLC going to change anything? Wishful thinking...... :(
For me the Mass Effect 3 is complete, and I don't think this will even change the outcome dramatically...... Well, we'll see.
