E3 2012: Metal Gear Solid HD Collection heads to stores on June 12, 2012.
my soul was sold to MGS a long long time ago (early 90s). MGS 1 (PSone) remains to this day my favorite of the series. Simply one of the best cinematic games ive ever played and at the time was ground braking in the way it made you think it was a movie and not a game. To have MGS left out of the HD collection was crazy, even a re-make of twin snakes would have been nice. As for the collection as it is now. I pre-ordered it ages ago. Even without Peace Walker (which i think is overated anyway) its still a fantastic set of games. MGS2 Substence (i think thats how you spell it ha ha ha ha) and MGS3 Subsistance are fantastic games full of content that keep you playing long after the main story has been beat. If you own a Vita you'd be crazy not to buy it. If you already have the console version it will depend how dedicated you are to metal gear, but for new comers and old school gamers like me searching for that hint of nostalgia look no further. This will be the ultimate game on Vita this coming week
@dr_jashugan It kind of was remade already on Gamecube..still kind of counts.
@dr_jashugan Yeah the technology isn't there because it's from a different system.They got the game in standard pixely resolution though on the special edition.
@Sage9 What are you talking about " the technology isnt there" ?? What do you think we are in the 50's obviously they are able to do it........
@dr_jashugan They couldn't make the HD version because it's too old!, But i think they will do some kind of remake some time!!!
@dr_jashugan It?s a few quid from PSN.
