This exclusive trailer reveals the Sanctuary faction in Might & Magic: Heroes VI.
Never defeat HoMM3 but i think this will be better than the 5th (Hero5) as the next step of the 5th with better graphics. Up to now, HoMM3 is the most time consuming game of me, followed by C&C3, Ra2, StarCraft1...
Hopefully it gets back on form HOMM 4 (terrible!) and 5 (not bad) haven't really rekindled what makes the series so great. I second babsai_san to be honest... It's a fail trailer but the faction does look kinda nifty - like that eastern dragon.
used to play them all HOMM and will surely buy and play this one too....do not forget how many games had video trailers/teasers which could send the best Hollywood movies straight to bin but the games were really crap. So lets hope this works the opposite way ...not a too convincing teaser might bring us a very good game.
Am i supposed to give a sh** about which waterfall they go to rest in the afternoon? The hell is this trailer?
by the gods, who are these guys ?!?! LOL... and yes, kung fu, wt*...... i like HOMM5 but i think it should have a darker atmosphere like disciples 2... btw i'll play this game anyway ^^
@relset its not jsut the naga even the graphics feel like warcraft 3 TFT and i know ill make a lot of enemies saying so but thats the truth
Been a fan of this game since homm2, this new release looks promising, mostly looking at the staff being sooo into it lol!! I know I know, heroes 3 was the best game of his time and blabla... but stop looking at the past. I just hope they are careful about presenting a captivating story, with either dark and light parts... and ofc, a fun and interesting gameplay. That's what made the difference between the fair and the great releases of the saga.
Nagas and Hashima? wtf?? is this Warcraft?? this is kinda weird, I do not understand why all heroes sequels after HOMM 3 are crappy and totally unplayable, still if I want to enjoy a real heroes game I play Sthe shadow of death, or even Heroes 2 (yes u see it right, even heroes 2 Dos game is better than 4th or 5th) This Naga stuff is just another bad move.
Regarding people who demands photorealism and stuff: If you have played HoMM I and II you would know that these had pretty cartoony and unrealistic graphic. Only exception was HoMM III though. Now on video: Nagas in Heroes game? I dont know, we'll see how will that turn out to be. However, these two guys are... lol xD
I kinda like this, it's new and original, plus the naga have never had a story of their own until now. It could be interesting. Only thing is that, while playing heroes 3 a long time ago, I always thought of the naga as darker creatures than the ones portrayed in this video, creatures of icy seas and cold environments like the tower faction.
I'm disappoint.Really Heroes Must be game with pretty much dark atmosphere and chased realistic graph motive. This look like game for 13 years old kids especially for Girls.Bring back old school Heroes model-Hmm3!!!
@danyjr what are u retarded or something? the naga has been in the Heroes series for a long time and so has the orcs....
@danyjr Orcs and Naga were around long before World of Warcraft. Orcs have been around for almost a century now... The Naga... well, I don't know how long this concept has been around but the first Heroes games from the mid 90s had them too.
quote from video: "think Japan... China... India..." lmao asian culture is all that three? dude you guys just put mumbo-jumbo in your game to make it look like cool, it's not making you an expert on asian culture, epic fail
Storyline is quite important to todays gamer. We have seen almost everything. Bioware *crosses fingers that swtor is good* understands this. These people arent retarded, they are Geek (or people with imagination who seem to be a dying breed). If you didn't feel something watching thier passion durring this trailer... "move on, nothing to see here"
I wonder what the intent of the devs was. I guess they're trying to re-energize the series with an actual storyline. I hope they understand that if they don't perfect gameplay elements, then all this story mumbo-jumbo will be irrelevant.
I'm sorry but I have to agree... These guys sound like they should be primary school teachers. To get this excited over... KUNG FU!... and other mundane details just kills any chance that the game itself could have an interesting and intelligent plot. ... ... KUNG FU!
yeah, my connection is slow and i actually waited a long time to load this video. did you know that, two retarded narrators?
so much hate for this game and the developers. I guess it's bad that they are really excited and care about the game.
"The Eight Petal Kingdom" - That has got to be the ***est (rhymes with jay) thing I have heard in a freaking long life.
@mixa90 I havent played the first two, so i really did not know there was Asian naga in HoMM. It is actually understandable because some gods in Asian myth do have snake body, but so do some demons. at least naga is back now. hope to see some more old faces back to the HoMM serie in expansions though, 5 factions are really a bit too few.
I've already written this game off no matter how much I love the HOMM franchise. Ubisoft will undoubtedly require some insidious copy protection (and need to be connected to the internet to play the offline game). Companies like Ubisoft are no better than the pirates who distribute copies of games. If they want me to purchase their games, they need to stop treating me like a pirate. Ubisoft will be the death of PC games, mark my words.
HOMM 3 was great because the AI was relentless, it had a lot of interesting variety, and the trademark great score. 4 (especially) and 5 were too easy. Do these yokels actually think they're generating interest in the game with their 'storytelling?' They remind me of Napoleon Dynamite. D' ORKS!
I think this faction is a refreshing adition. Still I will play most with the necromancers and the demons.
Ya know... I consider myself a huge geek/nerd. I love gaming, anime, and movies - especially rpg, fps, and anything with zombies. I used to play M:TG, Warhammer, and countless MMO's. With that said, the lame geekiness emitting from these two dudes is embarrassing me, and keeping me from any real interest in the game.
