When I started Minecraft I made a cave to keep me safe at night. That cave is now the entrance to my castle that I've carved out of an enormous hill. It's taken me ages and is going to take even longer to complete.
It seems like a chore, but it's not, there is just too much to do and I love it.
That is just me though, if you're not very creative, then I doubt there is much about the game you'll like because the game requires you to play. And I mean PLAY, not play someone elses idea of an adventure and all you do is go through it like an interactive movie.
I've only discovered about 1% of the items you can craft and I'm probably going about it all wrong (eg. I've yet to start farming lol) but I'm enjoying playing it my way and every day I learn something new or find something new.
It's the coolest playset in the world, better than LEGO. Lego gives you nicely shaped pieces and the blocks to build the item on the box cover, Minecraft gives you blocks (sooo many) and you can build anything anywhere to whatever scale you want. I've built a wonder, it's a 2000 : 1 scale model of Steve (your character) who towers above and overlooks my castle.
It's an awesome game, thankyou Mojang AB.

- So, I was trying to make a fire place in my Minecraft house. And I ended up burning the place. So, in order to prevent the flames from spreading, I had to flood my house.Posted Oct 1, 2011
