Problems importing mhf2 to mhfu?

I got mhfu and when i went to import my mhf2 data it says looking for file and then it goes away and im left with the background screen.
Both versions of my game are ulus( Im guessing that is the us version) I tried the euro version of the game but still nothing D: can anybody help, I dont want to start over again.

If its any help, I am running 3.52m33-4 with out any proxies.

disc saving info on them, have i really been gone from the psp scene this long xD
owell ty, it'll give me a reason to add the sexy case to my collection :D

Will I be able to run it on 3.52m33?
the game disc. and something is telling me i know the answer to this next question, but if i import my mhf2 save file to mhfu, can i go back to using my iso after?

If you download the game, it doesn't work. you need the disc because the disc actually saves some stuff on it now.
