Naruto CYOA Part 9 (Heart's)

Posting this now. Sorry guys, graduation practice later today and then the real one Sunday. I'm sandwiched with no time, lol. Once summer hits though, I'll be a free man.

Choice E

"I'm heading for the Kusakage," you state, hoping that your sensei is still fine fighting his brother. They were perfectly even the last time you saw them, and though Kinvari managed to defeat Sinvari, it has to be a lot more difficult now that he can regenerate indefinitely.

"Okay," Kakashi replies. "I'm heading for Gaara. I know a little about the Fourth Kazekage's jutsu and my Lightning Style should be effective against it."

You nod to Kakashi as the both of you suddenly leap off in opposite directions toward your respective battles. It was going to be hard fighting Time Style again, but you had confidence that you and Kinvari together would be more than enough to take his brother down.

You land where you think you saw the Kusakages of past and present leap away to but quickly realize there's no trace of them anywhere. Then you pick up on it very quickly...with a body smashing into your chest.

You pick yourself up from the ground only to find that Kinvari has been thrown out of high speed combat and into you by Sinvari. Just like last time, you couldn't even see their battle taking place...not even with your Sharingan...

"Are you okay?" you ask your sensei, hoping he wasn't out of commission just yet.

"Fine," he replies, managing to stand and wipe the blood from his lip. "Just a little winded. These reincarnated bodies regenerate pretty quick..."

"Yeah," you reply. "The only way I know how to defeat them is to immobilize them and then seal them. Killing them just wastes time."

"How'd you fair against the Hokage?" Kinvari asks as his brother begin taking steps toward your location.

"Kakashi-sama knew a sealing jutsu so it was over pretty quickly. Must not have felt that quick to you though..."

"So you've noticed," Kinvari replies with a grin. "But now that you're here I guess I can try out a new jutsu I've been working on. My deus ex machina if you will..."

"New jutsu?" you ask. "If it's not a sealing one then--"

"It is. I just need a little time to prepare."

Time? Against a Time User? How poetic. "I can give you a minute. I know your brother and he's not one to toy around with his prey."

"His personality's been wiped but you're right," Kinvari says. "Be careful..."

"Will do."

Using the Body Flicker, you dash toward Sinvari and tackle him far enough away from Kinvari that he won't be disturbed. However, you should have known that was pointless. In an instant, your opponent disappears from sight and reappears behind you, katana in hand and ready to behead you right then and there...

"Ninja Tool: Whirling Barrier Jutsu!" you yell while frantically pulling the scroll containing your defensive technique and unraveling it around yourself.

Just as the name suggests, a whirling barrier of explosive kunai surround you and block the attack of Sinvari with a series of detonations. You can see through the smoke that the blast managed to blow his weapon arm clean off. Too bad it had already started regenerating.

While not even waiting to completely heal, the former Kusakage attacks you once again, seemingly teleporting all around you with his time manipulation to disorient your movements.

"Stay still!" you shout in response, summoning a long chain whip to begin spinning around your perimeter. Luckily, the whips catches Sinvari and coils around him like a snake. Without hesitation, you pull the whip over your should to send Sinvari flying into the ground. It may not keep him down long, but after all, you were just stalling...

As you desperately avoid the Kusakage's deadly attacks, you begin to wonder how Orochimaru gained access to Sinvari's cell in order to kill him and then resurrect him. That could also mean that the other ninja still in Kusa could have been killed...the thought was enough to make your blood boil...

"Grass Style: Razor Leaf!" Sinvari suddenly calls out, breaking you from your train of thought. Oh damn, not Razor Leaf...


WHAT DO YOU DO?
A) Erect another defensive jutsu (Ninja Tool: Diamond Fortress!) ...maybe give you time for something else...
B) Counter with (Ninja Tool: Trifecta Threat Jutsu!)
C) Bypass the technique and continue attacking Sinvari (Ninja Tool: Great White Storm Jutsu!)
D) Summon the Protoblade (scroll choice)
E) Free will choice...
