I really like basketball, but game developes still can't reach nice realistic graphics in games... player hands are to static, look like vooden poles in the air... An in general, looking at movement... slow... such feeling like players are running on ice...
wait a mintue! @ 0:52 it says spin is twirl right stick clockwise, then right after it says that behind the back dribble is twirl the right stick clockwise..... wtf 2k? y you straying away from 2k11 controls?
1 Like Honestly, 2K13 will be the best (the only?) basketball game to get. But for me, the ultimate would be a game like Run and Gun 2.
What made this game sick? The character's were huge sprites, the dunks were nasty, and the ring shook when you dunked. It wasn't unrealistic to the point of NBA JAM, but it was heaps more fun than Live or 2K. Dunks Alley oops and Blocks were the game.
Call me old fashioned but I just dont dig starting a season with the Knicks then my Melo gets injured. (true story). And the whole missing lay ups thing I know is realistic, but its a game, should be more about timing and less about statistics.
Anyway Im not bitching, Im gonna get 2K anyway cause its good, but dont disregard what I said, Run and Gun 3 on todays consoles would look and play crazy good.
Yeah 2k12 had a mod with 400 teams, you can just buy a xbox controller, and just play its kind of easy, and the graphics are way better
1 Like @phoenix5352 Agree. Look at Gear 1 back in 07 i think.. compare that to Gears 3 its night and day - same console.
Look at 2K7 and it looks.. erm.. the same.. even the announcers still say the same stuff.. over and over.
@PC-lovers95 not going to happen at the end of this gen... my guess there will be one in 2 years
1 Like ...Actually the controls are far more intuitive, in fact you don't need a controller at all, but you need both arms, both legs, the ability to run, dribble, shoot, etc...Oh wait, this is for a video game??? WHY IS THERE A VIDEO GAME SIM FOR SPORTS???
Does anyone actually play spaorts games on a PC? Seems like that would be better suited to a console type game to me. Anyone?
I played 2K9 and 2K11 on the PC. Works with a 360 controller, I've got my PC hooked up to an HDTV and the graphics are better. Why wouldn't you play it on a PC?
lol, well it's about time someone commented in here. I was beginning to worry about PC sports games. Dont get me wrong. I've played quite a few sports games in my tme.
