AU Shippin' Out May 12-16: SingStar Summer Party
The summer party begins in autumn.
It's a quiet one for Aussie gamers this week, with most of the games getting released being budget Wii titles. They range from shredding up the water with Kawasaki Jet Ski to navigating the busy streets of London in London Taxi Rush Hour. On the PlayStation 2 front, Sony are releasing SingStar Party Hits and Buzz! The Pop Quiz. SingStar features songs by artists such as Amy Winehouse, Rihanna, and Australia's Ricki Lee. Buzz! The Pop Quiz, on the other hand, follows a similar tune by testing gamers' knowledge of pop music.
Despite being fairly slow this week, next week sees the release of some pretty big titles. Eidos's Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures will be available for those looking for an alternate to World of Warcraft, while PlayStation fans will be able to play the highly anticipated Haze, from the creators of TimeSplitters.
This week's new releases are listed below (list taken from retailer and publisher information--actual dates may vary).
