Breed site launched

CDV Software has opened a new Web site for Breed, its upcoming sci-fi action game in development at Brat Designs. The new site includes a general overview of the game's story and a description of its features, characters, weapons, and vehicles, as well as answers to frequently asked questions and a gallery of screenshots.

Breed is set in the year 2600, after an alien race has invaded Earth. Players assume the role of the commander of an attack cruiser that returns to Earth from a mission only to find it almost completely under alien control. The small group of human resistance fighters remaining must launch careful strategic strikes against the enemy's weak points in order to succeed. The game uses first- and third-person perspectives, and it includes both single-player and cooperative multiplayer modes.
