Call of Duty PS Vita has new story, historical setting

please make it lower not $50 for a Vita game

im sooooo pumped for this to come out.

Declassified should be a great addition to the growing Vita library. Also, this game should be amazing, nevertheless.

This could really be a killer app if we get the CoD experience on a handheld like the vita. And maybe they would do some really cool stuff with the portable aspect, who knows.

i hope its better than resistance was.

As long as it includes single player story mode, 8 player online mode and must have ZOMBIES (like must must must), then i will buy this. It's Cod, i trust them. if its priced $50 that only means one thing, its dam* good.

50 is not cheap. Its too much for a handheld game. I don't care how good the graphics are. I will only pay up to 40 for a handheld game. Period

50 dollars is cheap. think big games on the vita should be 50 dollars. If nintendo can sell Metal Gear Solid for 40 then Sony can sell games for 50. Stop complaining.

I usually don't give crap about the Cod series but this could be the Vita saver, hope it turns out as good as its fans expectations.

Doubt they will have a zombie mode, it says single player & multiplayer -- but that is just a guess

When are we actually going to see this game in action? They havent even shown it yet.

i love my vita gravity rush is awesome i just hope that big game brands dont keep passing off their titles to dodgy developers ie resistance, i had high hopes and honestly its a poor game i hope black ops will be amazing on vita

cant f***** wait for this next cod to be in my vita i only got one game that is UNcharted the best game of the year on vita its 2 sick

The VITA really needs this, it could be more of the same for the rest of the consoles, but portable gaming never had such a treat.

It's cod, so we can excpect average level shooting mechanichs, It's black ops so it wishes it's story driven, and it'll probably have zombies, and it's not mw or black ops 2/1 devs right? so it might be cool 

Who in their right mind will pay 50 bucks for a handheld game???? Im sorry but 35 is the max i'll pay for a handheld game.

Can't wait for this game.  But for $50 this game needs to have...

1. ZOMBIES

2. Good solid Gameplay

3. Very similar mutiplayer to the console versions

4. At least 8 maps, and at least 8v8 game modes, a great create-a-class and customization

5. Future DLC

@Diarm0 thanks for the reply, yeah i know there was some detail lost for the vita version of mk. they still did a pretty good job.frame rate on the pc for bf3 is 60 frames. I agree cod always has lead the way in terms of frame rates but i think it looks better too. Simply put the consoles can't handle the map sizes with 60 frames on bf3. Again detail would have been lost, the only conclusion i can come to is the map sizes arnt as big. I look forward to cod on the vita and hopefully maybe some cross play with the ps3 ?? it ll be interesting to see how they do. :)

as much i hate cod, ps vita currently needs these big name games to do better.

givedn the age of the COD engine, im sure they'll have no problem putting a good port on the vita.... maybe :)

To be honest, the only reason I'm interested in this is because usually Call of Duty games are solid FPS experiences. Vita could use quite a few more good games. Especially since I just bought Resistance: Burning Skies. Resistance Vita wasn't a bad game, just mediocre, it was mostly lacking in compelling content. Especially when you consider the limited selection of multiplayer maps. I could largely forgive the sometimes awkward AI if we had a couple more online modes and maps.

Hopefully it'll surpass Resistance in quality. Though I think it's bizarre that the developer hasn't been announced.

Call of Duty is good, but not what it is made out to be. Now this is just my view, if you agree, that's fine. If you don't, that's fine too. But please don't carry on at me about it if you disagree because as I said, it's just my view. Now, most of the time when games come out that have GREAT multiplayer, it gets almost totally left in the dark because people would rather play the same style of online gaming over and over, year after year. To me it seems like Call of Duty is basically like an automatic death penalty to at least half of any game dev who is working on online play in their games' time. Example, you are having a great time online with your friends on an awesome game, and then the next day when Call of Duty is out all of them have it, and even public online seems pretty dead.

Now, back on topic, well it's COD and all, people get angry because it's released and it's all the same =) But the story is always nice, I hope we will get something very well developed for our Vita...

Totally out of topic but it looks like Vita doubled it's sales in japan! last week was 34,459 units, and we got our first number one chart game! It was Persona 4 with 137,076 copies. I am actually happy, because I now see more light on this tunnel =) ( All this in Japan ) And there is still Soul Sacrifice to be released there and

many games we don't hear about around here.
