Earthbound sequel details to be unveiled this week
Series producer Shigesato Itoi opens a special page for new GBA sequel, plans updates with details leading up to April Japanese release.
TOKYO--Last month, producer Shigasato Itoi revealed through his official Web site that the next installment in his Mother role-playing series (known as Earthbound in North America) would be released in Japan on April 20. Little is known about the Game Boy Advance sequel beyond its release date and title--Mother 3--but that's apparently going to change this week.
Today, Itoi has launched a special section of his site dedicated to Mother 3, which will be used for disclosing first details on the game. The first details aren't set to go up until tomorrow, but fans of the series may want to check it out regularly, as Itoi plans to leak details little by little.
