So this Origin trojan is still not being deleted by antivirus and antispyware programs, too bad. Well, have your fun, EA - As long as this Origin crap is optional I can keep ignoring you and buy the games on Steam or directly from the developers. The day when any of the games I did not buy from you but another source install your Origin trojan on my PC (without mentioning it as requirement or asking before installation) will be the day I drive over to your nearest headquarter and burn you to the ground. (just so you know)
EA's Origin download hub adding 11 new publishers
Trion Worlds' MMOG Rift available via EA's download channel today; CD Projekt Red, Paradox Interactive, InXile Entertainment, and more highlighted as new partners.
Over the summer, Electronic Arts launched a new virtual marketplace called Origin. It first began operation selling only EA-published games but expanded later to include third parties like Warner Bros., THQ, and Capcom. Today, EA announced a new wave of nearly a dozen third-party publishing partners.
Leading the group of new publishers on Origin is Trion Worlds, creator of the massively multiplayer online role-playing game Rift. That game is available today through Origin and is the first title from Origin's 11 new partners to see release through the download hub.
The other 10 new publishing partners for Origin are CD Projekt Red, Freebird Games, Recoil Games, Robot Entertainment, Autumn Games, 1C Company, InXile Entertainment, Paradox Interactive, Core Learning Ltd., and N3V Games.
EA did not specify which games from its new partners will find their way to Origin, but the publisher noted it will roll out games from these new companies "in the coming months." Origin currently boasts more than 6 million users and hosts in excess of 100 titles through its Web marketplace.
