I there may have been a mistake. Even when you look at this page, it is for Bloodlines, Discover has no page on Gamestop anywhere. I really hope this is a mistake. If the DS gets another one than I am not buy Bloodlines until the PSP gets another AC game.
ESRB rates Assassin's Creed II for DS
Ubisoft gets a T-for-Teen rating on side-scrolling action game pitting players against Templars in a Renaissance setting.
Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed: Altair Chronicles for the DS did not fare as well with reviewers as its console and PC cousins, so it wasn't incredibly surprising when Nintendo's handheld was left off the list of systems for Assassin's Creed II. However, it appears Ubisoft has been busy making a second game in its historical hit man series for the DS after all.
The Entertainment Software Rating Board has updated its database with a listing for Assassin's Creed II: Discovery on the DS. Apparently a spin-off of the console and PC versions of Assassin's Creed II, Discovery is described as "a side-scrolling action game, set during the Renaissance, in which players assume the role of an assassin fighting against an enemy group known as the Templars."
The game received a T-for-Teen rating, with "violence" the only content descriptor. Beyond the standard platforming and combat, players will also be able to sneak up on targets and perform stealth kills. As of press time, a Ubisoft representative had not returned GameSpot's request for comment on the title.
Assassin's Creed II for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC will debut in stores November 17, as will the PSP spin-off Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines.
