@leeko_link Completely never even though about it like that.. good point. If Nintendo have got the rights to the games then they should work on a modern installment - completely different from the others. I've always wanted a 3D version of the Pokemon games, not 3D as in with the glasses, 3D as in the jump from Grand Theft Auto 2 to Grand Theft Auto 3. If they made a 1st/3rd person open-world RPG in the world of Pokemon I would definitely buy the game. It would be genius. Not to mention the fact it would wipe the floor with Skyrim - and I love Skyrim!
Fake Pokemon Yellow spotted on iTunes - Report
Fraudulent 99 cent app claiming to be port of Game Boy original rose to number three position on paid app chart before disappearing from online market.
Nintendo has staunchly stood against smartphone gaming for some time now, but this weekend, some may have thought the company reversed its stance. As spotted by Ars Technica, a fraudulent 99 cent Pokemon Yellow app appeared in Apple's iTunes store and rose to the number three position on the service's paid app chart.
As of press time, the Pokemon Yellow app is no longer available to purchase through iTunes.
Published by House of Anime, the game--which was released on February 17--was billed as "just like the original," and its product page showed the Game Boy game's title screen, as well as screenshots from the monster-catching role-playing game.
Additionally, the product page for the title displayed favorable, but unattributed, press quotes and a line that read, "all trademarks and copyrights are owned by their respective owners." Following the game's release, its developer penned an apology to fans concerning performance issues with the game.
As of press time, Nintendo had not responded to GameSpot's request for comment on the matter.
