Fallout dev teases new RPG

I've read the Wheel of Time several times now (it's long enough that I find I need a refresher when a new book comes out... it's like 13-14 books now) and the only thing that could link it to those pictures is the serpent eating it's own tail (the ring of the Aes Sedai).  Seeker... eh... maybe.. but it's not something that jumps out at you like the Aes Sedai Ring.  As for the 4.... the "Wheel of Time" series takes place in the 3rd Age..... it could be a... Oh wait, just read that it's a countdown timer.  Unless there is more info out there that I'm unaware of, the Uroboros Ring STRONGLY leans me towards Wheel of Time but all the quotes make me think otherwise (or, at least, that it's not in the same time period or land-masses that encompass the Wheel of Time series). 

I love the Wheel of Time but I'm not sure any game developer could live up to the standards set by that series.  It is probably my favorite series (up there with the Alternate History WWI and WWII series written by Turtledove) and, just like if they made a movie, I'm thinking it just couldn't be as good as the books.

No doubt now, it is definitely Wheel of Time, latest clue had the key word Watcher in it.

I'm hoping it's not a sequel to anything... Obsidian have a habit of taking a good game and making a so-so sequel.

KOTOR... Yes they improved the game-play a little with better use of the icons for using grenades, armour and stims... sure they did a better job of interacted with followers such as having them react more to your actions... but the story was incomplete and the ending terrible.

Fallout: New Vegas... Some improvements to game-play, companion interaction and weapon modding... but the endings were poor.

I'm a huge fan of their work (had South Park pre-ordered since March) but they just flat out suck at following on from someone else's games.

Oh, I sure hope it is a new franchise.  We need more original titles.

Alright, now that the 4 has changed to 3 and the Fallout and Dungeon Siege theories look less likely I just hope it doesn't turn out to be another MMO game.

One thing I didn't think about is a new Dragonriders game, the original Riders of Pern was actually a pretty damn good game.

What kind of RPG? A Dragon Age style RPG, or a Fallout style RPG?

The 4 and 3 are just part of a countdown. The quotes both talk about some kind of book. The ouroboros means eternity. Therefore, this is a RPG of The Never Ending Story. (??<)b

Pretty sure bethesda is taking the dev reigns for F4 (wouldnt have it any other way personally) and the text associated with this teaser image is obviously fantasy-themed so i highly hihgly doubt its F4. Most likely dungeon siege 4.

Um...Dungeon Siege 4? The only thing anyone will let them touch (except Parker & Stone with Southpark, but they don't know any better).
