i just got the game....its a fine shooter! getting in cover is nice! this one really lacks on horror.

If it keeps getting pushed back, it doesn't sound too promising. Definitely renting it though.

The original F.E.A.R. (2005) was and will be the best in the series and one of the best FPS games ever!

Mortal Kombat was good from WB didn't know this got delayed and was expecting to pick it up or LA Noire but I guess its LA Noire for this month.

FEAR 2 kicked @$$. It was the best FPS of 2009 next to Killzone 2 and I loved the graphics. Played it more than anything that year so to say Im excited for FEAR 3 is an understatement. I pre-ordered and paid in full last year. The delay will at least give time to focus on LA Noire, Duke and Alice.

This is why I have a subscription to gamefly, so that I don't have to worry about its release date, and when it is finally released it's like "oh hai, are you worth my money? No? kthxbai" and put it in the mail and never think about it again.

what the hell is wrong with game companies nowadays? Rage, september. Duke nukem forever, june, deus ex human revolution, august, operation flashpoint also june, well pc version is out, not that anyone cares about it on pc... now fear 3. Whats the deal?

I hate when games are delayed, but its always been worth the wait

I have no faith in this title whatsoever, canceled my reservation and am on to better things.

I have no confidense that this will be an experience worth of 60 bucks. Sorry not a buy for me, I'm just not interested in the series anymore.

The original FEAR is by far the best in my honest personal opinion.

With all the 'candy' colors, FEAR 3 looks exactly like the second FEAR, or even worse. Also, it looks like the developer's intention to scary the player has gone overboard with Alma popping in every 30 seconds or so.

i dont think it will be any thing to mention in comparsion to the up coming games of the year but prototype 2 is the deal.

F.E.A.R. was great at the time. F.E.A.R.2 was a step back IMHO. F.E.A.R.3? n.o.t.s.o.p.r.o.m.i.s.i.n.g.

As a fan of the first two games in the series, I wish I could say I'm really looking forward to this game... unfortunately, with the constant delays, I'm starting to have my doubts. The first F.E.A.R. is one of the greatest horror/action first person shooters of all-time. F.E.A.R. 2 I actually enjoyed. I thought it was a solid and fun action game despite not having the same level of horror and scares that the first game had. It just seems like they're trying way too hard to make this game cool (hence the silly F.3.A.R. title) and I'm just not getting a good vibe about this game. Still, I'll check it out when it's released.

i miss the days where developers stopped tooting their own horns....finish your game, than you can brag about it. btw, im in the process of curing cancer but, it will be delayed for another 6 months, sorry :-/

what happened to the guys that did the first game? bring them back. i gave up on the series after the Fear 2 demo.

This 3rd delay has yet again decreased my confidence in the game...especially since I'll be purchasing Brink and LA Noire a few weeks prior, and most likely will still be busy. If it gets good reviews I may pick it up...

Without Monolith at the helm, I have serious doubts about the quality of this title. These constant delays also don't bode well, imo. Usually means the publisher isn't satisfied with the quality, or there are too many bugs, or both. Definitely waiting for lots of user reviews on this one.

F.E.A.R was good. Extraction Point was still pretty good. Perseus Mandate was pretty crappy. And while FEAR 2 was an okay (albeit short and far from scary),it was disappointing and couldn't compare to it's predecessor in the slightest. With this in mind, I'm not exactly fussed when F3AR is released, or if it ever is.

Let's just hope that FEAR3 goes back to its roots and be the kind of game the first one was. The second was just OK, but the first was simply awesome, one of the bes FPS games ever.
