Sweet! I love these kinds of collections. There should be more of them. I got the Limbo/'Splosion Man/Trials HD disk, and loved it (though I still need to get back to Trials HD sometime). This one has yet another platformer with heavy puzzle elements for those who enjoy the games from the previous disk, but also has more variety in the games as well. I'm very interested in both Outland and Beyond Good & Evil HD. They seem like a lot of fun, and have hotten a lot of praise. From Dust also seems like an interesting game in its own way. I'm not sure how well that kind of game will control on a console, but as long as it's playable, I think it should be fun.
Ubisoft Triple Pack will reportedly contain trio of Ubisoft-published downloadable games, due for Xbox 360 and PS3 at brick-and-mortar outlets in March.
Last year, Microsoft bundled its XBLA Summer of Arcade hits Trials HD, Limbo, and Splosion Man for release at brick-and-mortal retailers. Now, it appears Ubisoft is following in Microsoft's footsteps.
A listing at United Kingdom-based retailer Play (via GamerZines) for a Ubisoft Triple Pack indicates that the French publisher is planning to bundle downloadable games From Dust, Outland, and Beyond Good & Evil HD for a retail release.
The listing states the bundle will be released on March 23 for £14.99, or about $20, for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. United States retailers aren't showing the Ubisoft Triple Pack, and a Ubisoft representative told GameSpot, "We have nothing to announce at this time."
I hope this is true, and I hope this comes out in the States. Although I wasn't enthusiastic enough about any one of these titles to grab them as DLC, all three bundled together is hard to resist.
Nice. Although I've got Beyond Good and Evil for the PC - and loved every minute of it over the several times that I've played it through - and although I didn't go much on From Dust, I may still get this for Outland and consider the others a bonus.
That's probably one of the best deals I've ever seen in a retail pack. It's basically the same as buying From Dust & Outland and then getting Beyond Good/Evil for free!!! BG&E was one of my all-time favs for the og Xbox. I still wanna check out From Dust but Outland does nothing for me.
@CodingGenius LOL I'm sorry, but are you referring to Beyond Good & Revenge? I've never played that game before. Who developed it? :)
Great deal. I remember when they did the LIMBO, Trials HD, and Spolosion Man 3 pack. They should do more of these bundles....
i bought both outland and bg&e during a live sale for 400 points each.wanted to get from dust but will buy the disc to add to the collection.
I wasn't impressed by BG&D, but I still say this collection is a great deal...well, for a console release anyway. Steam is probably selling them for $1 each or something by now.
Twenty dollars for three games I've been wanting for a while now? Sold! I'll be waiting for this to be released, for sure.
I loved Beyond Good and Evil, and it was a lot of fun replaying in HD from PSN. Might pick this retail pack up just for collection's sake, plus I still haven't played Outland or From Dust. Anyone who hasn't played Beyond Good and Evil yet, really should. 'Twas one of the best games of the previous generation. I'm still hanging out for news of the sequel they teased 5 years ago then subsequently cancelled, then subliminally said it might still happen.
Maybe they'll fix the "fine control" mechanism for controller-based versions of "From Dust". I still completed 100% of it, but thinking "this would be better with a mouse" the whole time. ...like a shoulder-button add'l shift-key type mechanism for super-fine tuning...
i might get bundle pack just for beyond gd and evil hd even i got it already might as well delete to get some room on my harddrive
Fair price. But I'm only interested in Beyond Good & Evil, and I already own the PC version via GOG.
I hope there are retail copies since for those of us who have less HD space or slower connection downloading everything is a hassle. Just saying there still some of us who like getting the game & boxart.
For $20 that's a great deal. I've been holding out on From Dust due to the price of $15, but it will be a steal to get it in this bundle.
Damn, I just bought BG&E three days ago too. Oh well, I'll pass this up. But I encourage those to buy the pack for it and Outland.
