GAME targets PC with Steam Wallet codes
UK retailer GAME expands store offering with Steam Wallet codes, offers customers 33 percent extra trade-in value until December 7.
UK retailer GAME is now offering customers Steam Wallet codes for purchase in store. The codes are available in denominations of £5, £10, £20, £50, and allow you to credit a Steam account without having access to a credit or debit card.
The move marks the first time Steam Wallet Codes have been available for purchase in a UK retail store. GAME is also offering customers 33 percent extra trade-in value against Steam Wallet purchases until December 7.
GAME has been steadily expanding its digital and in-store offerings under owner OpCapita, which bought the retailer after it went into administration earlier in the year. During the administration 277 stores were closed, and in excess of 2,100 jobs were lost.
