GRAW demo advances on PCs
Single-player, cooperative-multiplayer sample takes soldiers through the game's second mission in Mexico City.
Many Xbox 360 owners waited (im)patiently for a demo of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter to hit Xbox Live, which finally came almost a month after the game was released in retail. The PC version of GRAW is assaulting stores on May 2, but unlike the Xbox 360 crowd, the PC cyber-soldiers won't be left waiting for a taste.
A 544.5MB demo of GRAW for the PC is now available for download from GameSpot. The demo is a single-player romp through the game's second level, but those with friends in close places can play four-player cooperative over LAN. Set in Mexico City, gamers will take on terrorists who have taken the presidents of Mexico and the US hostage.
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter is rated T for Teen and will retail on the PC for $49.99. For more information on the game, check out GameSpot's previous coverage.
