Kidou Senshi Gundam: Meguriai Sora details revealed
Bandai is working on a game based on the anime movie of the same name.
Details on Bandai's upcoming game Kidou Senshi Gundam: Meguriai Sora have been revealed in the latest issue of Famitsu magazine. Kidou Senshi Gundam: Meguriai Sora is based on the anime movie of the same title. While the game is fundamentally a sequel to Bandai's Gundam release from three years ago, the gameplay system has been redesigned to suit the battle scenes that will now take place in space.
Kidou Senshi Gundam: Meguriai Sora will have two modes--a route tube mode, in which the player advances through a shooting game scene in space consisting of 3D graphics, and a battle sphere mode, in which the player freely moves around a spherical field to defeat a middle boss. In addition, Kidou Senshi Gundam: Meguriai Sora will feature more than an hour of anime cutscenes, half of which were produced specifically for the game. Approximately 100 mobile suits are planned to be in the game, and while the game will follow the movie's storyline, some additional story elements will be revealed by playing through the game a second time.
Kidou Senshi Gundam: Meguriai Sora is currently 65 percent complete and is scheduled for release in September.
