Lara's Anniversary dated

I am a little surprised that they're not going for the full spectrum of platforms that were covered by Tomb Raider: Legend (e.g. XBOX, XBOX 360, GameCube) but on the other hand, it is nice to see them taking the Anniversary edition back to the series' roots on the PC and PlayStation. As a side note, I know that many people dislike the PSP for the number of ports it receives from the PS2, but at times like this I think it's a great thing. It allows the PSP access to one of the greatest game libraries of all time.

Too bad they don't make any Xbox version.

I didn't like the controls of the first Tomb Raider games. So if that has been updated along with the graphics, I might be investing in one last PS2 game.

Tomb Raider serious is the game which really made me get into the gaming universe so much today i have become a hardcore gamer games have changed and evolved so much in time but I still think that Tomb raider is one the best games ever produced by the gaming industry

The first two were great. I still have the first game for PSX1. Getting it for PSX2 is a must. The fact that it will not appear on PSX3 was the final reason to canccel my PSX3. No matter how corny peope think TR1 was. It was and still is one of the few games that threw around our perspective on gaming. These are the moments we cherish forever.

I have high hopes for this one. The original TR is the only one that I really loved. It conveyed a sense of desolation and lonely atmosphere. Hopefully the remake retains that. I didn't like being connected via headset to your crew on Legend. Though I still liked Legend, it just didn't feel as much like Tomb Raider with all the chatter.

I've been looking forward to this game for a long time! Lara Croft ROCKS! :D

For an Anniversary title they should have done a next gen version . I'd like to know what made them take that bussiness decision. Is not like they don't have the engine running already on 360.

Heh. Amusing--I do hope that blasted 'hop across the torch pillars to grab the lead bar while on a timer' puzzle is a bit easier this time around. That and the 'run around one side of the pit to hit one lever, then run around to the other side to the other lever, then run back to the middle before the timers run out' bit from the second game are my least favorite TR puzzles. :-/ Meanwhile...I'm even more amused that these companies are virtually ignoring the PS2, and cranking out more titles for PS2. Kinda says something...

Yeah, I'm going to upgrade my pc before that day, and buy it as soon as possible since I enjoyed Legends and never played the first game on Playstation. With all the graphical details cranked up and anti lasing, it will look way better than the PS2 version. I wonder if it would support the Next Generation graphics like Legend does on PC...

This one is going on my shopping list... I really enjoyed Legend!
