Max Payne 3 update fixes invisible player bug

Latest title update for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC fixes numerous issues with Rockstar Games' latest action shooter.

Rockstar Games has released a new title update for Max Payne 3 that fixes a player invisibility bug, among other issues. As detailed on the company's blog, the update is now available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC versions of the game.

In addition to scratching the player invisibility bug, the Max Payne 3 update also fixes an issue when players would get stuck in cover, when game modes could appear to be over 100 percent full, and where players encountered trouble loading into a new game when a party member had left.

Additionally, with the Max Payne 3 update applied, the Kill screen now shows what weapon and burst enemies used to knock players down with. Further, it fixes an issue where on occasion a Loadout slot could overwrite another Loadout slot at the start of a Gang Wars round.

For the full patch notes, check out the post on Rockstar's website.

Just yesterday, Rockstar announced that the Painful Memories map pack for Max Payne 3 will arrive December 4.

For me this was a great game the story was really good and the people looked good.  I never got to play the multiplayer because I borrowed this from a friend :(

Wow, you stuck it out? After having to replay the same checkpoint four times, I shelved the game and started a new character on Borderlands 2

imagine if they would have put this time and effort into single player dlc...this is a perfect example of a game that didnt need online multiplayer in the first place..

I really loved the online, but it was almost impossible to get into a match.  I was dropped almost every time, and I have a 10MB best effort connection.

Sadly, not enough play online anymore.  A shame, since this game had its moments in multiplayer.

Glad to hear they fixed the cover bug, it screwed me out of a near perfect run in 'New York Minute'!

amazing single player experience, but who the hell cares about the multiplayer, especially this long after the fact?

@visionedorange I have to tell you, for the short time I've played the multiplayer, it was really fun, but they really made terrible choices for what concerns balance between newbies and experienced players to a point where wapons matter twice as skills (eventually when I reached level 40 I had a sniper rifle that kills everyone in one shot everywhere, something like 30 rounds, no kidding). Anyway nobody plays it anymore and the season pass in my opinion is just stupid.

@queuing_for_PS4 dude Gears 1 had the most amazing glitch in a game EVER, you could basically chainsaw a guy, he wouldn't die and still continue playing after the animation but after that you could run away and make him explode at any time you wanted by pulling out your weapon, there's videos on youtube, you were basically Gaemon from Lupin the IIIrd.

I just bought this for 19.99 and put it in my tray going lets try this multiplayer it sounds kind of cool, until it informed me that you must own all the DLC packs to play anything online, you can't play anything, with anyone.... and people say EA is bad!

@chingchow48 I'm pretty sure you're referring to the compatibility packs, which are necessary to play online and free of charge.

I sold this piece of crap after 1 month. The Online was terrible and story was aweful too. I loved Max Payne 1&2 both 3 was so bad.

@BryanParksSuper Speak for yourself. I have been around since Max Payne 1 as well and I loved 3. Honestly, I wouldn't of wanted to see Remedy do this one. MP2 was the worst in my opinion, it was completely pointless.
