Metro: Last Light Wii U canceled early on

looks like wii u is dying already, noone wants to make game on garbage hardware like the wii u, wii u has no directx 11, no graphics processing power, the things is old hardware that was rehashed into a system and sold to the public full of misinformed people who only looked on the outside of the nintendo, not knowing fully that the wii u has no guts, there will only be a handful of next gen games that come to wii u, and they will look like garbage... all in all nintendo fooled everyone into buying a piece of junk, and anyone who defends it is a fanboy and has zero knowledge of hardware and what people + developers are aiming for in next gen, wii u was a overpriced gimmick it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see it clearly.

i would have really like to see this on the Wii U. sad thq went bankrupt. they made good games but as it is with all great starts a crash landing and no parachute haha 

Metro 2033 was one of my favourite underated games. Hope the sequel keeps the same gritty feel and essential "Russianness" Really couldnt care less that it wont be on the Wii U, its not a kiddy game anyway.

Why would they want this game on Wii U anyway?  Wii U deserves better games than this.

Let me rephrase that.  What is up with the character modeling?  I was expecing Last Light to be a huge step up from 2033.  Well what is terrific in the Metro games is the lighting.  So I'm putting my hopes on that.  I have to get myself a GTX 680 before the game is out, as my 570 struggles with maxed 2033.  Although this game will probably be better optimized.

The hell is this resolution?  64 bit?

So they canceled the game with only have the non final dev-kit. They really are smart.

It could be that because the Wii U is new to the market and the installed base wouldn't be large enough to make a profit with the game releasing early 2013 or maybe they didn't have time to develop something truly worth while with the gamepad. This is the first nintendo system that wasn't hard to find on store selves.

So much for the core gaming..

I think gamers tend to read too much into these situations.  Studios don't have infinite resources to pursue every project they think is cool.  It often comes down to a simple decision of where the most money lies, and that usually isn't on a brand new console that has a user base of zero at launch.

Wii U doesn't  have the power! THAT'S THE TRUTH!
