Xbox 360 maker "Bringing It Home" once again with new demos, trailers, themes, video of press conference after the fact.
Last year, Microsoft's "E3: Bringing It Home" promotion attracted gamers to the Xbox 360's online service with a free week of Xbox Live Gold, demos for Lost Planet, Test Drive Unlimited, and Moto GP, and a wealth of new trailers, gamer pictures, and themes. With the E3 Media & Business Summit set to tip off next week, Microsoft today announced that it will once again be "Bringing It Home" for the show.
From Tuesday, July 10 through Friday, July 13, Microsoft will provide Xbox Live users with video updates from the show, demos, trailers, gamer pictures, and themes from upcoming games. However, a Microsoft representative said the company had not made any announcements about free Xbox Live Gold for the week. The promotion is set to feature games such as Assassin's Creed, Guitar Hero III, BioShock, Burnout Paradise, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation, WWE SmackDown! vs. RAW 2008, Blue Dragon, and Project Gotham Racing 4.
In addition to game-specific content, Microsoft will offer its E3 press conference in high definition--scheduled for that Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. Pacific--later in the week. For more on that event (and the rest of E3) as it happens, check out GameSpot's full E3 coverage.
two games i'm really hoping to hear about, mass effect and banjo kazooie 3 weren't mentioned at all, i'm hoping we get something on those games, even if its just another trailer or 2
last year was awesome sad thing my hard drive is almost full one demo at a time i guess i hope all pro football in the mix and too human
Thank god I signed up to Xbox Live today (finally). I can get my hands on that Ace Combat 6 playable demo. Thank you microsoft, that'll be all for me.
I would be happy with a demo of BioShock which can be possible seeying as though it's coming out in a little bit more than a month from now. Can't wait for microsoft's presentation tonight!!!
if they some how pulled off a gh3 demo i would once again love microsoft (they made me wait 2 months for repair)
I would kill for a demo of skate but I think I'll settle for an assassins creed and or CoD4 demo... by the way does anyone really care about wrestling games anymore!?!
im excited mainly for a bioshock and call of duty 4 demo........although any demos they put on im gonna download and try out.........i wonder if it will be hard to download stuff from the marketplace when e3 starts cause if anyone remembers last years e3:bringin it home most of the time when you try to download stuff then it would take FOREVER because so many people were tryin to download all the new stuff at once. lol
All I want is Msoft to announce that MGS4 is now being released on the 360 as well as PS3. That would make my millenium!!!
yeah i think you can definantly count on a bioshock demo and im really hoping for an AC demo too! Maybe even GHIII!
The Official Xbox Mag in the UK is advertising a Bioshock demo for next month, just 4 weeks to wait.
I expect a Blue Dragon Demo and possibly a Bioshock demo. The HD coverage is a nice touch. I'm curious to see how much, if any, HD coverage Gamespot has. I'd trade it all for HD downloads of On the Spot though. So far only one that I know of.
You guys are dreaming if you think there is going to be a playable demo for Assassins Creed yet. It's still a ways away, so don't hold your breath. I mean it'll be great if they do and I hope I'm wrong, but alas, I never am.
hell yea!! plus they will have more stuff cuz there wont be any set backs cuz of the crowded booths!
Microsoft never knows how to please any one And there better be demos of assassins creed gh3 cod 4 bioshock and burnout
my tv is in for a repair so i cant play on my 360 for a while, did they launch a assassin's creed demo??
All I can say is, I wish MS would re-tool their Xbox 360 manufacturing plans to make the 360s more reliable. My friend has had two die, and another friend's malfunctions every so often.
Demos. Demos. Demos. Thats all we want. Give us demos, stuff we can play. Demos. We don't care about themes, gamer pictures or videos. We want demos.
I wonder how much of this content will include playable demos of the titles listed above...videos are one thing, but oh how often have I rushed out to buy a game (or stopped in my tracks) after playing a demo. Very compelling marketing, moreso than a trailer or photos.
I'm really interested in at least 5 of those games. Thats totally awesome that they're going to put out that content. I can't wait!
@ mooseman721 no it won't be though live they going to send a dvd to all 10,000,000 xbox 360 users? why people think we care about there console problems.
