MineCon 2012 coming to Disneyland Paris
Mojang's second all-things-Minecraft convention descending on Disney theme park in France November 24-25; registration opens soon.
MineCon 2012 is trading in Sin City for Disneyland in Europe. Mojang announced today that MineCon 2012 will be held at Disneyland Paris November 24-25. Registration for the event is set to open soon.
No other details are available on the event. MineCon 2011 was held last November at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Tickets for that show went on sale at $99, scaling to $140 for those who waited a while to purchase.
If MineCon 2012 follows the recipe set from last year's inaugural event, attendees can expect keynote speeches, build contests, breakout classes concerning various Minecraft topics, and costume contests.
Mojang is currently at work on multiple projects, including Scrolls and space game Ox10c. No mention was made concerning whether these titles will be on-hand at MineCon 2012.
