Nintendo launching limited edition blue-black bundle in United States beginning December 2 at $200.
Beginning December 2 in the United States, Nintendo will introduce a new blue-black limited edition 3DS XL bundle that includes a preinstalled copy of Mario Kart 7 for $200. Purchased separately, gamers would pay $200 for the system and $40 for the game. A similar bundle is available in the United Kingdom.
Mario Kart 7 launched in North America on December 4, 2011. It has sold 5.24 million units worldwide as of March 31, 2012.
Just last week, Nintendo introduced a new flame red Black Friday 3DS bundle that included a preinstalled copy of Super Mario 3D land for $170.
The Mario maker enjoyed a prosperous Black Friday period, with the 3DS moving 250,000 units and DS devices shifting another 275,000 during the week.
