Next three Battlefield 3 expansions revealed

An expansion should include a new story for 1p or coop mode and so if they don't add this all they are selling is some content that should been included with the game in the first place.

I remember having such good memories playing BBC2, BF3 is still good but I loved BBC2 heaps and played hundreds of hours on it:)

Wait... this is free right? Because charging 40 bucks for DLC is a pretty good scam otherwise... Instead of a 60 dollar game your actually buying a 100 dollar game. But if it is free I'll at least admit that the people in charge of publishing BF3 have some sort of a soul.

I'll not get Close Quarters. Armored kill sounds like a lot of fun... here's for hoping they add a 3rd side (like Euro forces in BF2, I'd really love to have access to the Leopard 2 MBT in the BF3 engine, such a sexy tank).

Aren't all of you sick of being told how you can use YOUR copy of EA games on Origin? Have you tried to play any of your Origin games while NOT connected to the net? WTF is going on here? Why are we letting EA treat us like this? I say BOYCOTT EA AND ORIGIN!!! Please! For gamers everywhere who are sick of digital rights management. It will only get worse unless we STOP BUYING THEIR GAMES!!!!!! I know from the bottom of my heart how hard it is not to play games like BF3 and I haven't played ME3 but I loved the first 2 and it KILLS ME to not play the third but THIS IS WHAT WE HAVE TO DO to get our games back... Super big vehicle map? Can you say tank time with zoom optics = 30 kill streak? Well, unless there are a lot of planes too. Then I will probably get a -10 kill streak. Oh well I'm down for some new DLC

I'm actually surprised they didn't try to cash in on DLCs over giving us quality DLC (like Bioware and ME3 with that Prothean addon and story).

I like Battlefield 3, though I don't believe it's a great game because it feels rushed and mainly it doesn't have that addictiveness that BC2 had. Battlefield 3 I can sit down and play for probably 30 minutes, then get bored and leave. Bad Company 2 I could play and realize at 6 o'clock in the morning I played for 12 hours straight.

I love BF3 (though i am currently playing 360 version...crappy pc :P) and i would love to see where they go with the expansions just like they did with BF2 (yes the original not a console version). and at the same time i wish they could add more SP... either way these 3 that they have here sound pretty good to me.

@badiie05 i must sadly agree bfbc2 had something... magical maybe it was its simplicity. I do love the suppresion addition but overall bc2 felt like more fun this just feels harder.

I'm not being entertained with BF3 as much as BFBC2, and I bought the limited edition for BF3. *sigh*

I'd like some maps from the Bad Company games honestly. The close quarters pack would be welcome as most of the maps in this game are MASSIVE. I'm curious to hear more about End Game.

they need to fix all the hacks in the game. Many players use assist hacks that help locate other players and notify you when you are being scoped and it ruins the game. I used to see certain players seem to own on the maps and they seemed to find everyone and had the best accuracy. Not only that but weapons suck in this game, rpg's land like right next to a guy and he doesnt even get hurt or takes minimal damage and couple hits from a gun and you die real realistic. yeah a bunch of players wine about something like that and they change the mechanics yet the hackers stay scott free because they dont catch them.

I'm excited for some close quarters to be honest. I kinda tired of some of these caspian border games finishing with 3 kills and 2 deaths as the MVP, barely encountering someone else unless doing something radical. Now more details on the rest of the expansions!!

IF EA/Dice fix the PC version (infinite "LOADING" between maps) that was not broke before the Nov 22, 2011 patch I will purchase these. If not, no way.

@BryanParksSuper OMG you are clueless, your comment is an epic fail. Just another console newby gamer that has no clue about hosting a dedicated server. Its actaully awesome to be the admin of a server then you can easily boot people like you who thinks something is bs because they are clueless about it.

Why is everyone complaining? At least DICE DLC is off disc. Also DLC is optional, the only mandatory download will be the large update to the game. If you're not interested, then don't buy it. Same goes for the rented servers. If you don't want to rent a server, then don't. People probably will so they can host private games or clan matches. What a bunch of vaginas...

@BryanParksSuper I also share your skepticism about renting servers, however I do feel your argument is a bit "heated". The BF series is awesome and so is COD (I still have reservations with Killzone sadly). BF and COD are different games however, COD is more close quarters oriented and BF allows for strategy elements to be involved due to it's larger map scale and vehicle usage. I personally prefer BF series, but I have no quarrels with COD players either. As customers we can always benefit from the competition. I like choices. But back to the issue at hand, if server renting business works, other companies would follow. So now is the time to speak with your wallet and make a choice that will define this service in the future to come.

@BryanParksSuper Actually this is great. Renting servers lets you mess with the options... You can make a classic mode with core health, no tank/player regen, no 3d spotting. Or you can make a REAL hardcore mode with no minimap and slightly longer respawn timers but also longer "man down" timers to emphasize medics healing and reviving teammates. It's an option to rent, they give dedicated servers for free (well, included in the price of the online pass I guess). This just lets people make the game better if they so choose to do it... and make rooms for their clan to play in that is all their own. I'm pretty sure COD has server renting options, and it was one of the biggest issues a while back when they decided not to rent them.. I think it was reverted.

So BF3 players have the option to rent Servers. What a load of BS. Thank god I never played any BF games. I will stick with my COD and Killzone. Renting servers please. Epic fail.

June DLC...COD Map Pack...Metro 2.0...no thank you. You don't beat your rival by becoming the same. It's not bf anymore, it's a COD hybrid with vehicles. How disappointing.

I'm not so happy about this. I'm relatively new to the Online Gaming sector and I'm hoping that not all companies handle their games like EA/DICE does. This June dlc is basically a COD dlc. Don't get me wrong now. COD is brilliant but for me 1 or 2 COD-like maps(like Metro) is enough for me. I was instantly attracted to BF by the huge maps and epic vehicle battles with helicopters, jets and tanks. This disappoints me. Let COD be COD, don't try to steal their customers by becoming COD. Please DICE. Anyways, for me I'll just be looking forward to Armored Kill. Going to be a long wait :'(
