Outfit maps land on Live
Multiplayer map pack for THQ's squad-based shooter now available for download; three maps for $6.25.
THQ's The Outfit for the Xbox 360 prided itself on the amount of destruction players could dish out in the game. Buildings, vehicles, and opponents could all be laid to waste, with little but rubble remaining on battlefields after intense multiplayer rumbles.
Today, THQ and developer Relic Entertainment are giving gamers three more maps to trash--the Collateral Damage map pack is now available for download from Xbox Live Marketplace. The bundle includes three maps--Luftwaffe Finale, Bleak Mile, and Eagle's Nest--and costs 500 Marketplace points ($6.25).
In The Outfit, gamers play as either the Axis or the Allies in World War II and try to secure strategic points. Through the Destruction on Demand feature, soldiers can order airdrops of weapons, vehicles, and even air strikes.
The Outfit was released in March, is rated M for Mature, and retails for $59.99. For more information on the game, read GameSpot's review.
