Overlord to raise hell on PS3s this summer
Codemasters announces its fantasy adventure--complete with expansion pack--is coming for the PlayStation 3 in mid-2008.
Having already pillaged PCs and Xbox 360s, Overlord is making its way to the PlayStation 3 in the coming months. The original Overlord will be bundled with the Raising Hell expansion pack--previously available as an Xbox Live download--together in one package.
The creation of Dutch developer Triumph Studios, Overlord was released last summer on the PC and Xbox 360, and puts you in control of the Sauron-esque lord and his devoted army of minions hell-bent on wanton destruction.
Codemasters said in a statement that the PS3 version will boast "online co-operative pillaging and head-to-head slaughter...enhanced with detailed visuals, a top-spec audio system with 7.1 surround sound and gameplay refinements, such as the addition of an on-screen mini-map."
No firm release date has yet been announced.
