Two more characters in Sony and guests' mash-up brawler to be revealed tonight at EVO 2012.
PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale will let players beat the tar out of various Sony favorites on October 23, according to the PlayStation blog. Two more characters for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita franchise-mashing fighting game will also be revealed tonight at 6 p.m. PST at Sony's exhibition for EVO 2012.
The game's confirmed roster so far includes God of War's Kratos, Parappa the Rappa, Sly Cooper, Killzone's Colonel Radec, Twisted Metal's Sweet Tooth, the Fat Princess, Uncharted's Nathan Drake, and BioShock's Big Daddy. The new characters will bring the total to 10, though several official comments on the blog made it clear the selection will not end there. The game will also have several preorder-exclusive character costumes.
The game's melees will span several Sony-themed environments with static and interactive elements. Confirmed brawling locales include God of War's Hades, Ratchet & Clank's cityscape Metropolis, and Jak and Daxter's Sandover Village.
All-Stars Battle Royale will feature a number of single- and multiplayer game modes, as well as cross-platform online play complete with tournaments. For more on All-Stars Battle Royale, check out GameSpot's hands-on preview.

I think ratchet n clank, snake, and crash bandicoot should be in this game... actually there's plenty more characters that should be in the game
Are the clothes theyre wearing alternate costumes or default? Cause in my opinion, they look better with the originals
Not to burst any bubbles but wasn't solid snake a character in the latest SSB, although All-Stars would be a better fit i can hardly see him being in both.
8 Like You know, I don't get why so many Nintendo fans are raging over the creation of this game. I've been a fan of the Super Smash Bros. series since the first, but I'm excited about this opportunity to play as characters from the other side of the spectrum.
I know for a fact everyone is going to play with nathan drake his character is too over powered this game is crap

As a fan of rpg games, no rpg characters, no play. Didnt like Smash Bros til they added Marth, though Pikachu and Ness were in the first.
I agree. They wouldn't have to, for example, add the entire roster for every Final Fantasy to date. However, incorporating Cloud would be a no brainer in my mind. I will be quite surprised if zero characters from a Square-Enix RPG make it into the final product.
@leviathanwing it doesn't have to be...adding a character with a blade for instance shouldn't be too big of a stretch no matter where the character came from

5 Like Well, it's pretty obvious that Ratchet and Jak will be in it since their environments are in the game. So that's a given. They need to add the guy from Infamous and Sackboy from LBP.
I swear that Uncharted guy is waaaaaaaaaaaaay over powered....dont believe me go watch E3 he pwn everybody including Kratos
5 Like I find this game funny for three reasons.
1)Playstation fans claim this will create competition for Smash but SSBB took four years in development and SuperBot was assembled and made this game in a year and a half.
2)Nintendo fans are calling Sony for coping Smash Bros.
3)A person from SuperBot admited this game is intended to copy the look and feel of Smash Bros.
2 Like @hatieshorrer Here is the deal though.....argument on your 1 post....it better not take as long to copy and paste a idea, just make it your people and arenas........argument for 3....if they did not admit it they would be called liars it is a direct copy of SSB by game play.........and argument on 2 is.........THEY did copy it! pretty simple to see a 2 yr old can see it..... Bottom line is Sony seen a game that Nintendo has done well with on at least 2 different occasions and they did not have a game like it and knows that if the big N can put there characters in there there fans will buy it.......just smart business. Now I am not a fan boy cause I have owned every system since Atari....yes I am old! lol this type of business has been going on for decades.....people just need to enjoy it.
1 Like Point 1 is doesn't even make sense, as a longer development time does not correlate to marketability.
Point 2 and 3 are essentially the same thing; and no one ever claimed otherwise.
3 Like @hatieshorrer Four years? Brawl development started in October 2005 and the game was released January 2008 in Japan. Superbot was formed in 2009. They're actually taking longer than Brawl.

Playstation wouldn't been big if it wasn't for Crash and maybe Spyro, but sony never cared nor bother to keep them. They better show them some damn respect and add them and in their PS1 era models. They should of been the first one to be revealed along with those six characters. It's like leaving out both Mario and Link in the new SSB game.

Sorry, Tekken (and its sequels), Battle Arena Tohshinden, Twisted Metal (and its sequels), Wipeout, Jumping Flash, Final Fantasy 7, 8, 9 and Tactics, Metal Gear Solid, Chrono Cross and the Gran Turismo franchise...you're just window dressing.
