It will be using the PGR name and will not deliver PGR quality. My guess? Pole Position with a heavily digitized Ferrari. Expect NES quality until they put 3D processors in more phones than the n-gauge.
Project Gotham races onto mobiles
Microsoft signs up Glu Mobile to produce a mobile version of Project Gotham Racing.
Glu Mobile is set to develop and publish a version of Project Gotham Racing for mobile platforms. The company, which recently bought UK-based mobile entertainment company iFone, aims to bring the game out worldwide for a variety of mobile platforms in early 2007.
"The Project Gotham Racing franchise is loved by millions worldwide, and we're excited to partner with Glu Mobile to give gamers a new platform to enjoy it on in the near future," said Edward Ventura, director of franchise development, Microsoft.

Seriously... what's the point? What's the big deal about mobile gaming? Sure, I own a cell phone (who doesn't?), but the only types of games I like to play on it are games like Tetris and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?
What the hell? Now even PGR is on the mobiles? That's like, 3 bits of mobile news in one day. -_-
