Project: Snowblind dated
Eidos will ship the game formerly known as Deus Ex: Clan Wars on February 23; game's site revamped.
Few games have been through as many changes as Project: Snowblind. It began life as Deus Ex: Clan Wars, a tactical-action game set in the Deus Ex sci-fi universe. However, after it "began to take a direction of its own" the near-future shooter was renamed Snowblind. In September, that moniker was tweaked to Project: Snowblind.
Once the question of its title was answered, gamers began to ask another: "When's it coming out?" Well, Eidos now has an answer: Project: Snowblind will ship February 23 for the PC, Xbox, and PlayStation 2. The game already has a "T" for Teen ESRB rating, and will have an MSRP of $49.99 for consoles and $39.99 for PCs.
To commemorate the ship-date announcement, Eidos released the second official trailer for Project: Snowblind. It also thoroughly revamped the game's official Web site, adding new information, expanding its gallery, and adding various downloads, including AIM icons and screensavers.
