PS3, PSP Rainbow Six held till '07

I'll wait for the game even if it is for a year

i really dont care i got the xbox 360 version and thats off the hook as it is online, but i cant wait for the psp version though

Pushed Back Even FURTHER !!! --- March 1st.. http://www.gamestop.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=270025 I know that even sony's site states that it will be on the 30th of Jan, but Gamestop is really good with there dates...they foresaw all the delays in games before announced to the press...(half-lifes, Metal Gears, etc). I plan on waiting though, instead of buying this on my 360---I like my ps3 controls more...and i think the 360 version runs inconsistent...and I dont want to play for xbox live sorry everyone =(

"kevb84 wow sucks for PS3 owners." I know I am stating the obvious, but kevb84, a lot of the stuff that I have seen lately, sucks for PS3 owners. Delays, crappy games, expensive system, non exclusives, etc., etc. Personally, I am glad that arrogant Sony is having a rough time this generation. I loved them last generation, but then they started developing this "holier than thou" attitude, and personally, it bothered me. I say the 360 and the Wii is the way to go. (I don't have either of them yet. 360 is still a bit on the high side for me. I am definitely interested in the Wii though. Brings something interesting and new to the table. I'm waiting for there to be a price drop though, or maybe I'll just cave.) Although I want to point out that the PS2, Xbox, and GC still have some life left in them, so I am enjoying them for the moment.

I don't understand why they delayed the PC version. This has nothing to do with the Euro PS3 launch, and two weeks is hardly enough time to debug or work on a game. OH WELLZ I'll just have to wait for it.

Hmm, thats pretty harsh, i was hoping to get the psp version for crimbo. That release date being pushed back kinda takes away some of its flare, for me anyway.

Looks like the analysts were right when they said publishers would push back games till next year due to the missing European Launch.

I rather they delay and put out a excellent game then a sloopy game and it being on time. I hope everybody else agrees.

I don't think the PS3 will sell as well as the X360 did last year or wii should this year because the PS2 still has plenty of life in it. The real battle begins in 2008.

hmm.....Why did Sony need to launch the game this year again? I mean it looks cool and all but paying $600 bucks to watch the startup screen is not my idea of fun. Good thing I cant afford one now anyway :D I am a total Playstation fan, but all these delays of previously hyped launch or holiday 2006 titles makes me wonder just what the heck is going on! I mean here is just a short list: 1. MotorStorm 2. NBA Live (dropped for the PS3 this cycle) 3. TC Las Vegas I even think F1 racing was due out this month, but also got pushed to next year. Could be wrong about that however, could be that F1 is going to come out to coincide with the new F1 season (think that starts in the Spring for the US)

Well I feel sorry for all of the PS3 buyers. $600 spent so you can watch your friends tear it up in Gears of War and Rainbow 6 Vegas RIGHT NOW. Multiplayer is awesome in R6 Vegas by the way.... I played my buddy's copy last night and the graphics arent anywhere near Gears of War, but they are still really really good. I have Rainbow 6 Vegas and Call of Duty 3 sitting on my desk right now, unopened. That tells you how good Gears of War in multiplayer is.

It seems like most of you people are forgetting that when X360 launched it had just as maby bugs and gliths as PS3. Soon Sony will fix those just as MS did.

Well All I know is this. Weather or not its sony's fault and the so called "demand" is " too high". The PS3 hasn't even broke 300,000 units worldwide yet, so that might be why a lot of these PS3 games are getting "held back". Another reason, and because of the PS2's dominace a lot industry developers aren't going to come out and say, that developing for the PS3 sucks.(even though some have expressed there disslike for it, such as John Carmack, And Itagaki {Team Ninja lead designer}) That being said another point I'm going to make is this. All sony wants to do is make Blu-ray win, thats all they "could care less" about the compition just as long as blu-ray wins then there good they can always come back and make the PS4 dominate again. So they don't care about any of this. They don't care that the Xbox 360 has the highest attach rate or is half way to the 8 million world wide sales mark, or that the Wii is out selling them left and right, just as long as Blu-ray wins.(thats what there concentrating on. the format and technology), but ask panasanic 3D0, M2, Turbo Duo, Xbox 1 if that matters too much. Everybody knows its about games, and it seems like M$ is getting them so to count out Xbox360 is foolish. And if the Wii out sells both the PS3 and Xbox360 were going to see a "change" industry loyalty and support. Even thought things look bad for sony right now the PS3 will pick up some steam by the end of 2007 but it maybe too little too late? Only time will tell. But one thing you can tell sony's popularity is down and no one can dispute that. sony knows that they won't sell 110 million PS3s but if they don't and or Blu-ray wins they win, so either way sony could still come out victorious. We'll just have to wait and see.

The reason that you get the PS3 version is surely because you have a PS3 isn't it? of course they'll be identical, and people aint likely to change sides for a multiplatform game like this!

To all those PS3 fans saying it is not a big deal to wait, I say, why bother? We all know the PS3 will be, at best, equal to the 360 version. What on earth do you gain by waiting another 2 months for a PS3 version when it is out now on 360. Just switch sides, no one will blame you for it ;-)

lol... Last I recall, X360 games at launch weren't that great.... Only thing that was maybe worthy was COD 2, but it was just a port from the PC... Stop bashing Sony, if you dont want to buy one thats your choice... I have a 360 and plan to get a PS3... I think those of you who complain are the ones who can not afford one... Trust me you wont be saying that come next year when they really launch some good games.... Right now I dont mind waiting till next year, because the good games aren't coming out till next year, and I'm not the type of person that needs to be first in my nieghborhood to get one... I am pretty happy with my 360 for now.... So just embrace the technology, and enjoy...

SONY is coming out with there newest game and it will be a # 1 hit all over the world. TITLE OF GAME IS : NOSE DIVE and itis a PS3 exclusive. Staring SCEA President Kaz Hirai as Baby Seal Specter. And the father of PLAY STATION Ken Kutaragi as Jester. They can both get stuck and bump in to each other just like in COMBINED ASSAULT. lol

ehhh...i dont see why PS3 games take longer to develope for...the game isnt going to be as cool NEXT year...i'm just going to play it NOW on a freaking 360

Is it just me or does Ubisoft love Microsoft? Whatever good news for me. Bad for PS3 people, but don't worry after devolpers get used to the PS3 they will be able to make some good exclusives for it.

Ugh, some one kill me now. Double Agent quit being fun a few days ago and I was counting on this to chase away my boredom blues. I only had 6 days to go, but now it's 20 days. If I accidently do someting stupid in my attempt to not be bored, say accidently destroying every mailbox in a 2 mile radius except mine, I'm blaming Ubisoft :(

Look at the launch titels for Playstation 3, look at the Reviews from the launch Titels, look at the Videos from the launch Titeles!Everything looks so bad so cheap, buy a 360 and ignore Sony! This is no real launch this is cheating customers!

so they hold back the PS3 version .. what's the problem it's not like anyone has a PS3 yet . If the stock levels were up to scratch then this would be a worrying trend .. but i think developers would deliberately hold their games back so as to not get forgoten when the machines finally become availiable !

i just think that its not good to release the game when there are so litle ps3 out. i think they wait that more as been seel so they will sell more copies and more $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

The whole PS3 scene is nothing but a held back. Why bother with these guys just get a 360 and play all your games NOW.

bioshock is on pc and FPS games are always easier to play on pc
