Getting it for the PS3! Thank you thank you thank you. Dont have to buy a 3DS just to play one game, not to mention on a small screen. Phew! For now, I absolutely have no reason to get a 3DS anymore.
Resident Evil: Revelations coming to consoles, PC

3DS-exclusive hits Xbox 360, PS3, PC, and Wii U May 21 for $50; will include HD graphics and a new enemy, harder difficulty, and Raid weapons.
Resident Evil: Revelations will not be a 3DS-exclusive forever. Capcom today announced that the zombie action game is coming to consoles and PC. The game will hit Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, and Wii U on May 21 in the United States (May 24 in Europe) for $50.
A digital version of Resident Evil: Revelations will be available on PS3 and PC on launch day, with digital Xbox 360 and Wii U iterations to follow.
Resident Evil: Revelations for consoles and PC will include "enhanced" high-definition graphics and lighting, as well as a features not found in the 3DS counterpart. These include a new Raid mode playable character (Hunk), a new enemy, and a harder difficulty option. In addition, new Raid weapons and custom parts will be available in the console and PC versions of Resident Evil: Revelations.
It is not a complete surprise that Capcom was planning to bring Resident Evil: Revelations to systems other than the 3DS. Recently, a leaked Achievement listing suggested the game was coming to Xbox 360.

1 Like @wizardboyus should it cost even less than the 3DS version? I think with the improvements and additions it is well worth the price.
@StarkJJ @wizardboyus You do understand that the story mode is only 7-8h. I have it on my 3ds and it's ok. The survival atmosphere is back and the gameplay's good. Now only 12 different enemies in the game, story doesn't make sense at all and the so call revelations are just not there. So StarkJJ, I suggest you inform yourself better with this game before assuming that it's worth the full prize.
1 Like As much as I wanted to play this in 3D (I thought the game looked GREAT in 3D on the 3DS), I didn't like the controls and I sold my old 3ds and CPP in favor of the 3DS XL which doesn't have CPP that I know of. I hope to get this on Wii U and I hope it has 3D support. Can't wait.
so pleased this is coming to console, I squinted my eyes on a tiny screen on a brill game, now I get to play on the big screen
@NTM23 I would say so. The majority of the game takes place on a cruise ship, but it's very well designed. A mixture of tight spaces and a few open spaces keep the levels entertaining and the other locations are very different (when you play with say Chris or Keith). Also I made sure to set the 3D depth setting to the maximum which sucked me in pretty well.
1 Like This is exciting for people who haven't played it but I'm shocked by the high price... Especially If it's digital only as it sounds. Also for anyone wondering there's no qte. Unless that's one if the 'enhancements' which I sincerely hope it's not
1 Like Before the Wii U version was confirmed, I was set to get this on PS3. I'm definitely getting the Wii U version now though. Not sure if I'd still get the 3DS version though. Guess I'll decide that when I finally get a 3DS.

1 Like @HADES2001 @reyan1455 I mean the DLCs (skins, modes,multiplayer) that capcom will sell for a premium price. Capcom is well known for selling things spereately on DLC that should've been with the game from the begining.

Everything else announced for the game so far hooked my interest, but then I took a steep price tag to the wallet.
I just thought this had happened due to the fact that Resident Evil 6 was kind of going down in the wrong direction yet I have fun with it. Capcom really needs to avoid the high costs of little extra goodies but ... I love Resident Evil so I might get it. Thanks for offering it on other platforms Capcom
2 Like For the fanboys who have thought this would be an XBOX exclusive, NO WAY Capcom would leave behind the platform where RE series was born!! NEVER! 1st day buy!!!
Changing the subject, I guess Capcom here is trying to make up for RE 6. You know, I enjoyed RE 6 and I killed lots of hours getting the easy platinum trophy the game provides PLUS everything that I could download thru DLC and RE Net. But I had to format my PS3, losing every file I had in storage. And now it feels wrong downloading everything again for RE 6 once the game is clearly unfinished.
So, bye bye RE 6 copy! We knew it wouldn't last much.
they have ruined the series... we want re4 remake on next gen console.... a game similar to re4 ....
RE: Revelations is closer to the series' survival horror roots than RE5 and RE6 combined.
Even the original Resident Evil games did not feature parts where you had to roam eerie environments COMPLETELY UNARMED.
2 Like although newer resident evil titles has long gone from its original roots, but this coming to PC is great news , good job CAPCOM.
It's a shame, don't own a 3ds, but Revelations was one big reason I was considering getting one. What's the point of different consoles when exclusives are fewer and fewer.
3 Like @nonfanboygamer1 The 3DS still has luigis mansion 2, Fire Emblem, Kingdom Hearts 3D, Project X Zone, Kid Icarus, Super Mario 3D Land, Legend of Zelda Ocarina of time 3D, and many others. I still think its worth buying a 3DS.
1 Like $50!? You've got to kidding me, you can get the 3DS version for only $20. The hell with that I would have bought it for sure if it the price was decent but if you people own a 3DS just get that instead.
