Sony HK to host Street fighter 25th Anniversary tournament in Asia

Games used for upcoming tournament in July include Street Fighter X Tekken and Super Street Fighter IV: AE; winner of Asia finals gets free trip to Tokyo for TGS 2012.

Sony Computer Entertainment Hong Kong will be hosting a Street Fighter 25th Anniversary tournament featuring the following fighting games: Street Fighter X Tekken, Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition ver. 2012, Street Fighter III: Third Strike Online Edition, and Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix.

The preliminaries for SFxTekken and Super Street Fighter IV: AE will be held on July 21 and July 22 respectively at the E2Max cybercafe, Cathay Cineleisure Orchard in Singapore. The preliminaries for the latter two games will be held on July 28 and July 27 respectively at the Wisma Atria building in Orchard Road, Singapore.

The regional finals of the tournament will be held on July 29 at the Wisma Atria building. Players who win regionals will then head to the Asia finals of the tournament held at the Taipei World Trade Center Hall 2 in Taiwan on August 26.

The winner of the Street Fighter X Tekken tournament at the Asia finals will earn a trip to Tokyo, Japan to attend the 2012 Tokyo Game Show held from September 20 until September 23. The rest of the winners for the other titles get to win up to prizes up to $500,000. The regional finalists from the Asia finals will get to represent their country at the Street Fighter 25th Anniversary grand finals tournament held in San Francisco in the United States this December 8.

Participants have up until July 16 to register for SFxTekken, SSFIV:AE, SFIII: Third Strike Online Edition and Super SF II Turbo HD Remix on the respective links. For more detailed rulings for each tournament, check out the official page for the event.

go kick western ass... their only good at fps... our players can easily blow by pass any western competition like it was easy mode haha
