Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Set drops in September

I will wait for the 25th Anniversary arcade edition or the 26th Anniversary super ultimate edition.

150 dollars? Sounds like its worth it but I feel like a more updated version might come out....

First off, I feel old, because it doesn't feel long ago I was playing the 15th Anniversary game. Really tempting, even though I have almost all the content. Although I feel i've been bent over enough by Capcom over SF4, the various versions and all the DLC.

holy crap... looks like I'm going to either rob the bank... rob that bank truck, or pull a GTA on some fool and sell their car to get this wow.

Despite the fact I own all the games in the collection except SF X Tekken...it's a very nice collectors edition...I'm a huge collector of game stuff, so this suits me....but I do wish it included more games people might not have had a chance to play in the past 25 years.

the funniest lame recent moment from capcom is when their guy was moving around in all videos and interview with his Blanka Toy.

Pass!  This isn't a collection for the fans, this is a half-a$$ed attempt to get rid of the overhead from current generation releases.  Where's the games that would really make this a collection?  I'm talking about Street Fighter-Street Fighter Alpha series.  Most of us already have what's in this package so I'm suppose to get excited about a 11 disc soundtrack and some movie knock offs?  

life size ryu belt?  meh... i can get a karate bely for 2 dollars...the ryu 8: figure is pretty cool..

the book is ok...

but 150 dollars for that? no...just no 

If I were to buy this, EVERY Street Fighter game ever made would have to be in the bundle.

When I first read this I thought they were releasing all the iterations on SF series, title is somewhat misleading.

Like I'm going to buy this when 6 months down the line you'll release the ?Super Ultra edition? of the Anniversary set for $100 bucks. Fool me once Capcom, shame on you.

as far as im concerned the best SF games werent even in the last 5 years...

this anniversary pack is bs, capcom is turning into a snake oil salesman....

and then next year Capcom will release the 26th year anniversary edition with 3 new characters and an art book :p

That might be the best 100$+ collector's set I've ever seen. 

Dude, that Ryu belt is all I want.  I would put on a white terry cloth bathrobe with that thing on my waist, Karate Kid bandanna on my head, then walk in to a martial arts studio playing the music from the soundtrack on a boombox on my shoulder.  The studio would stare in amazement as they surely know that a hadouken is coming next to their sensei's face.  Everyone would cower in fear of my Ryu belt.

Thats actually not bad. But i'll pass. I have SSFIV, dont want SF v Tekken, I have both SFII & SF III, I have the animated movie, i have Street Fighter IV Ties That Bind, couldnt care less about the music or artbook, & really dont care about the statue & belt. I do however would like the Super Street Fighter IV anime that is comin out with the collection. But im not about to pay 150 for just that.

That's a darn good anniversary set! Oh, and releasing it in September, Capcom? Trying to take money out of fighting game fan's wallets so they can't afford DoA5 or TTT2? Pretty sneaky :p

I suppose i will buy it.I need a new copy of my SF2 animated movie.I also been wanting to get my hands on the whole anime as a physical product. 4 games with all the DLC. I love SF music so i don't mind having all that music. So i guess the package will make a nice bday present for me.

Otherwise it is a shame a new online version of SFA3 wasn't included, would pay out the ass for that.

The only reasons anybody would buy this is because, either they're a SUPER fan, they don't have any of the games above, or because they're rich and want to show off their wealth. Can't believe that for the 15th anniversary of Street Fighter, all we got was a collection of 3rd Strike and yet another addition of Street Fighter II.

I'd rather they just release another compilation disc with all the above games, minus Street Fighter X Tekken. Either that, or leave off SSF4AE and just bundle 3SO and SF2T HD Remix + Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie or maybe Street Fighter Alpha: The Animation. Yeah, SFA: The Animation is my favorite. :3

I will pass on these, already got Super SFIV, don't like SF X Tekken and all the music in those 11-disc set are gonna be uploaded to YouTube  for sharing anyways so there's no need to dropped $150 for a bunch of craps. Those money are better spent on buying awesome games for your PS3, Vita, 3DS, Wii, DS , PSP, and/or Xbox 360 instead.

I would love this set, but there's one problem...if this is the 25th anniversary set, where's, you know, the games? Yeah, SF2, 3 and 4 are in it, as well as SFxT...but where's Alpha 3? CvS2 (yeah I know it's capcom but still, CvS was a big deal when it came out) I'm not going to deny that I'm tempted to get this set anyways, but still...

i guess im one of the only people lookin forsward to this collection..... mostly because i have none of this content..... just capcom classics collection vol 2 for street fighter 1 and the 15th anniversary collection for 2 and 3... never played 4 yet so yeah..... anyway i have calculated all the content and this could easily have been over $300, so $150 is a heck of a deal for this. now capcoms resident evil 6 $1000 plus collector's edition on the other hand... WAY too much D:

Who the heck would buy this bundle?  I mean, most people that like SF probably already have several if not all the games already.  The only way this would be worth it, is to a collector that never opens it, waits another 10-15 years and sells it on EBAY.

The common sentiment that I read on shoryuken is that a lot of the old times fans don't like this, and where hoping for Alpha 2, 3 and SvC 2 with online play, or even off-line play. The games which are included are games any fan of Street Fighter would already have. 

Why would you want all this crap?
