Tomb Raider 1-5 hit Steam

Square Enix releases original action adventure games through Valve's online store for $10 each; Angel of Darkness missing.
Tomb Raider fans will need to wait until 2013 to play Lara Croft's next adventure, but those looking to relive her past can now download the first entries in the series from Steam.
The original Tomb Raider, Tomb Raider 2, Tomb Raider 3, Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation, and Tomb Raider: Chronicles are each available now on Steam for $10 each.
An unspecified issue is keeping Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness from showing in the store, but Square Enix said it is working on making the game available.
The Tomb Raider reboot--which spans 12-15 hours--is due March 5, 2013 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. It was originally planned to launch during fall 2012.
Tomb Raider is the first installment in the series since 2010's downloadable multiplayer-focused Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, and the first standalone game since 2008's Tomb Raider: Underworld.

@bdous @Rennik_Repotsir Tomb Raider 3 has the best set of moves in terms of balance and how they are used in the level design, in my opinion. Nice selection of weapons and exotic destinations too. Its only flaw is the disjointed story.
2 Like DON"T BUY THIS ON STEAM! You can get Tomb Raider 1-3 together on Gog for $9.99, Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation and Tomb Raider Chronicles together on Gog for $9.99! So, it's a much better deal, plus they're all DRM free.
@starduke how much you wanna bet that squeenix makes gog take down those games or make them raise their prices. otherwise nobody has any reason to buy them here.
@starduke why would anybody buy they five games on steam for 50 dollars when they can get them for more than 50% less somewhere else?
@soulless4now I do :( , on the bright side it has just appeared in the steam store :) , finished TR 5 about 10 years ago lol , time for a conclusion.
I wish the Xbox could get these to. I can say I'm looking forward to the new Tomb Raider! Looks great!

The only installment you should buy on Steam is TR:TLR, because the version available on PSN is missing a few elements and has multiple game-ending bugs (I got hit by one on one of the pyramid levels late into the game, via the metal gate challenge where if you go into a certain gate first, you'll cause the buttons that you have to press in a combination to not reset).However, the rest shouldn't be missed on PSN; they're $5.99 each (US) and serve the purpose well. At $10 a pop, you're getting ripped off given how old and untouched they are.
It's ?10,- per game in Europe, so that's even more expensive. If I didn't own them already I would never buy them at that price. ?2,50 per game is a good price. Those games are 15 years old.

2 Like I would only recommend getting Tomb Raider 1 and Last Revelations. Those two capture the real essence of tomb raiding.
i still have all on PSone if i wnat replay i'l play em , still amazing games compared to crap that will be unleashed in march.

Nice. I already put the first one in my cart :) However, I do think $9.99 is a little steep for such an old game. I personally think $4.99 would've been sweet.

I would pay a dollar for I & II. $20 bucks for each is WAY too much. Both games haven't held up very well.
4 Like GoG has the first 3 for $10, then 4 and angel of darkness, all DRM-free, much better deal, only missing link being TR5:Chronicles. I'm surprised Steam's receiving these so late!
Tomb Raider 1, 2, and 3, are the best in the franchise by far, think i will pick them up next time i have spare money.
I wonder if there is any chance that TR3 will include the TR Gold levels ("Unfinished Business" and "Shadow of the Cat").
