Uncharted 3 arriving November 1, 2011

i really want this game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@10679 First off the Original Playstation had the same controller design that the current PS3 with only new features to make a difference. As for the Xbox's controller I remember that IGN called it blunder of the year. Citing its awkward design. The Kinnect is really a rip off of the Eye Toy. Who had HDMI first? Who had a HD Player first? Where's the Blu Ray? Blue Tooth, internet browser? That's where the real Ideas are. Thinking towards the future.

@10679 I'm not going to comment on most of what you say because it's mostly opinion and I try not to argue opinion. But what i will say, in my professional opinion (I have a masters degree in both computer engineering and computer science if that means anything to you)... The reason PC games look better is not the graphics card... okay it SORTA is... the GPU on the graphics card (the highest end ones) are pretty awesome. But the main reason that PC games LOOK better is that it can store WAY more information on the hard drive, the cache, and the RAM... this makes for faster processing and smother pictures, a.k.a faster Frames Per Second (FPS), which of course your eyes and brain interpret as a better looking picture although technically it's really not that much better. But that is only one edge that cpu's have over consoles. Most consoles with dedicated RAM, ROM, CPUs (9 in the PS3, 2 in the 360) HDD, and GPU's make development and ingenuity way easier on consoles. (not saying your WRONG, just not 100% correct... then again, i only develop games for the ipod, ipad, smart phones etc... so my expertise in that field is limited I'll admit...)

I got Uncharted 2 among thieves on my ps3 thats the only one I played this sounds awesome.

Really i'm not a sony fanboy or anything but i just wanted to point out that they really aren't making any plans for Xbox 360 exclusives except for GOW 3 I mean they're making sequels to some of PS3's best exclusives like Kill Zone, Uncharted, Litle Big Planet, etc... but there are some good Xbox 360/PS3 games coming out like Dead Space 2, Portal 2, and Mass Effect maybe Bullet Storm it depends on what it gets in the review I mean with Xbox 360/ PS3 games Xbox 360 owners will still have games to get unlike the Wii which has slightly good games coming out like every 4 months or so

Wow, makes you wish they made GT5, they somehow seem to know to the DAY that this game will be out in 11 months. Thats some major skill. So nothing is going to delay it.

Oh yeah crysis is still alot better than any of the games above. The new graphics card for pc still push them quite a bit for performance. Crysis is not the only good looking game. Metro 2033 on max is just as good as crysis and there is flying sim game that looks as good as crysis. The only reason pc is not doing well because you can pirate them which can't do consoles without risking destroying your machine. Thats the only reason why developers tend to favor consoles. No console games will ever come close to pc in terms of graphics. Its just impossible.

Sales and losing money aren't identical; you were talking about sales when you stated Sony were last in this "race". Sony did indeed make losses until late 2008, early 2009 but the PS2 has always been giving constant profits in this period as have PS3 exclusives linked to Sony. There profits were so high with the PS2 and elsewhere in separate markets (computing, TVs,Bluray..etc..) I highly doubt the 2 years losses have been as significant as most people make out. Not forgetting the consoles they sold at a loss were selling when the PS3 had least sales; 1 million in the first year. You're questioning the accuracy of VGchartz figures?; they are the ones who released the accurate sales figures for both GT5 and Move contrary to the shipment figures Sony released. Say or think as you wish but does this effect me or you in any way what so ever?, no. One, I am not a Sony fanboy, I'm a Nintendo fan which I been in my entire life so far. Second, why it seems that I defend PS3 a lot is because I hate stupid Xbox 360 fanboys. Xbox 360 fanboys annoyed me so much when I first joined Gamespot. And ruined things for me. You are forgetting that in the gaming world there are only two markets. One being the console market and the other PC market. Therefore the games that appaear on both xbox360 and pc are not xbox 360 exclusives but a console exclusives because pc is not a console but instead its an entity on its own. We all know when the ps3 came out , it was struggling really bad and that sony was losing alot of money. The ps3 only started to do well was when the slim came out and that only lasted a year. Secondly sony never releases actual sales figures to anyone. They always release shipped figures which shipped figures to retailers. My guess thats because sony actual sales figures to consumers and that great compared to their shipped to retail figures. Therefore those figures that the site has its not very accurate.

@10679. Let me be clear, I said It's nice to be a PS3 owner next year because loads of exclusives. I never said that Xbox 360 sucks because it got only Gears and Forza. And besides Xbox 360 has more than Forza and Gears. If I did trash Xbox 360, then I did it in a fit of anger caused by the annoying people. I have nothing against Xbox 360. @10679 The word "fanboy" is overused and often not correctly.Fanboy as a word means someone who's a fan of something but when you put something behind the word it suggest that's all they use or like. That's not true, I have all 3 systems and use them on a regular basis. Exclusives is another word that's misunderstood; Gears is exclusive to both PC and 360; regardless of platform it's not an exclusive to one singular system. Company yes, system no. You should look at this respectable source about hardware sales year by year: http://www.vgchartz.com/hw_annual_summary.php Vgchartz doesn't lie and has proven accurate in many reports.They take into account actual sales over shipments; they did it woth Move recently.Remember PS3 is one year older in the current market but sales figures would suggest it was only a few months behind.

It gives th emotive to use my ps3 as it is collecting dust atm. Loved the first two games and can't wait for part three.

Even in the first two weeks of december the 360 was ahead in terms of sales.

Hmm strange that I come to an Uncharted 3 post and people are going off about how "great" the 360. Not really one to slam either Sony or Microsoft because I personally like both systems but I still stand behind the PS3. Sure theres a handful of great exclusives but big deal. Look at some of the upcoming exclusives for the PS3, and look at how games are starting to come to the PS3. Say what you will about your beloved 360 but you just sound biased and sore that your losing exclusives. So yes you may always have Halo, Gears, and Left 4 Dead (personal favorite of mine); but I will always have Little Big Planet, Killzone, Socom, Uncharted, and God of War. Feel free to name so more 360 exclusives, but I'm very content and happy with my so called "poor exclusives" or whatever it is you want to call it. Anyways definately looking forward to playing this game although my PS3 might burn to death from me playing it non stop during the month of November between Skyrim and Uncharted lol.

In "Gaming land" so to speak, Sony is second; not that it really matters. The PS1 and PS2 sold because they offered a huge number of exclusives whilst the Xbox had just a handful; this trend started again 2 years ago since the PS3s price dropped and Sony improved dev kits. some years ago Microsoft got a lot of old sony exclusive franchises to jump ship and go multi plalform. (Final Fantasy, GTA, ) Sony's answer to that. Make new francise exclusives that can't jump ship. And the PS3 exclusives keep a comin' Resistance 3, Killzone 3, Uncharted 3, Socom 4, Infamous 2, LBP 2, and DC online. And yet I keep hearing Xbox fanboys saying where are the game? Or bragging about Halo and Gears. The only exclusives Xbox has that are worth playing. See Bill Gate and co. Always steal ideas they never innovate or create new genres and for that reason Xbox will fail ultimately. @BURGERgio who's we? do you work for a game publisher? lol as stated by several people, Microsoft has no contract with the publishers at Bioware, EA does. Where as Naughty Dog has one with Sony. I do however understand that it sucks that the 360 cant enjoy such and amazing series. Your best bet is to hit up craigslist and find a used one cheap.

@BURGERgio Sony owns Uncharted, Microsoft doesn't own Mass Effect Ea does. So therefore if you're gonna represent Microsoft (since it seems like thats what you're trying to do) at least get the games right. You didn't give us Mass Effect Ea did.

@BURGERgio ............ As it is stated in the previous comment....xbox 360 can't handle PS3 games because of the disc media....PS3 is using a Blu-ray disc...and 360 is using a DVD....if any PS3 exclusive came out for the 360....they'll have to make it 3-disc game (at least)

@BURGERGIO No not any PS3 exclusive should never come to 360. Uncharted cant run on 360. 360 cant handle any PS3 Exclusives its been stated by several times.

@BURGERgio I have a question in regards to that comment you posted....if the Uncharted Franchise wasn't receiving all the praise it has been getting since the sequel's launch, would you still have that opinion that the game should also be on the 360?? 360 didn't give Sony Mass Effect 2, that was all thanks to EA and their decisions made with the developer Bioware so what's your complaint...if you honestly want the game then just get a PS3 to go along with your 360!!

@Max1363, Gears has to deal with Killzone 3, Socom 4 and Resistence 3. It seems that Sony has the advantage.
