Uncharted: Fight for Fortune confirmed
$5 turn-based card game from Sony Bend coming to PS Vita December 4 with support for Golden Abyss.
The rumor was right. Sony today confirmed the next entry in the Uncharted series as turn-based card game Uncharted: Fight for Fortune. Due December 4 at $5 for PlayStation Vita, the game features the heroes and villians from the Uncharted series, including Nathan Drake and Katherine Marlowe, among others.
In Uncharted: Fight for Fortune, players will create a team of Faction cards based on characters from the Uncharted series. They will use that squad to defeat opponents while also defending themselves from attacks.
Additionally, Fight for Fortune ties in to PS Vita game Uncharted: Golden Abyss. Sony is readying a patch for Golden Abyss that will enable the artifacts players have found to be used within Fight for fortune. Gamers do not need to own Golden Abyss to play Fight for Fortune.
Uncharted: Fight for Fortune is in development at Sony Bend in association with series developer Naughty Dog and startup shop One Loop Games. This team is made up of "talented industry veterans" and will assist Sony is extending the Uncharted franchise.
