For those complaining about the jungle... it's NOT a jungle game. Yes, you go there at one point, but you also go to the desert and explore tombs.
Uncharted-inspired FPS Deadfall Adventures coming from Painkiller dev
Unreal Engine 3-powered FPS going for an Indiana Jones vibe.
Painkiller Hell & Damnation developer The Farm 51 will release FPS Deadfall Adventures this June, publisher Nordic Games has announced.
Deadfall Adventures will be released on July 30 for the Xbox 360 and PC. The Unreal Engine 3-powered game cites Indiana Jones and Saturday-morning matinee adventures a primary inspiration, and the game promises a similar blend of puzzle-solving, exploration, and shooting that has made Naughty Dog's Uncharted series so celebrated.
The game is set in 1938 and casts players as Lee Quartermain, who has to battle Nazis to track down an ancient artifact from an Egyptian temple. Quartermain will be joined by US agent and former colleague Jennifer Goodwin.
