Volition's New Game

By Amer Ajami

FreeSpace developer is currently developing what it calls a "groundbreaking" first-person shooter.

Blue's News is reporting that Volition, developer of the FreeSpace line of space-combat sims and the upcoming Summoner, is looking for a level designer for the company's latest game, which is being described as a "groundbreaking" first-person shooter. No further details about this game are mentioned on Volition's web site, and the company's publisher, THQ, couldn't comment on the game's existence beyond what was mentioned in the job description.

It's to be expected that any new game announcement would come in the days leading up to E3. Hopefully, more details about this mystery game will be revealed then.
