The xbox 720 logo was mainly in the final 30 minutes of the movie and they r now finding out
Xbox 720 logo appears in 'Real Steel' trailer
Microsoft branding for supposed Xbox 360 follow-up spotted in Hugh Jackman's near-future robot boxing film.
Hugh Jackman's latest film, Real Steel, is set in the year 2020, a time when robots have replaced humans as boxers. While that may seem a bit far-fetched, the latest trailer contains another prediction of the future, specifically that Microsoft will have a new console out by then.
During a scene in the latest trailer for Real Steel, a logo for the Xbox 720 is briefly visible, mirroring the imagery Microsoft has used for the Xbox 360. In addition to the Xbox 720 branding, the trailer shows the logo for Bing, Microsoft's proprietary search engine. Other corporate logos featured in the trailer include Del Taco, Mercedes-Benz, Coca-Cola, Capitol One, and Cadillac.
When asked about the ad, a Microsoft spokesperson told GameSpot the company "does not comment on rumors or speculation."
Over the summer, the rumor mill churned out word that Microsoft was readying an Xbox 360 successor reveal at the 2012 Electronic Entertainment Expo, scheduled for June 5-7 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
