Rowan Belden-Clifford of Insomniac Games explains why their new Facebook game is for core gamers everywhere.
is this going to be Flash or how will it run? will we be able to play it on iPad without it being on the app store?
This game is going to be awesome. I don't mind it's on FBook even though I don't play FBook games. I also don't mind if it doesn't move onto consoles. It is what it is and I'm going to appreciate it all the same. Insomniac have slaved over this for a VERY long time and I have no doubt it will pay off. Because I have faith in Insomniac Games. Love those guys.
@gamingqueen I like PixelJunk Monsters Online. That's the only facebook game I play currently. This will be the second.
PAX East actually had quite a few compelling "Facebook Games." The problem is they require Facebook.
If only Nintendo would make a Pokemon game for facebook to show everyone how it should be done.... We all know this Outernauts game is a Pokemon rip-off and it's only gonna make you wanna play Pokemon.
Space Pokemon on Facebook /= gaming. I've tried similar things already on FB and each time I quickly realize that it's still just shovelware.
That sure looks like Max Payne, Dark Souls, Mass Effect or even COD... I guess I'm not a "core gamer"
@ehkzibiht Insomniac isnt a first party group of Sony, its more like a 2nd party or a third party that is more into making exclusives for Sony or is paid by Sony to make certain games. This game is one of those games that isnt paid for to be created for Sony, its a third party title that Insomniac made which is why its not being released on any Sony systems. Its a independent company in other words ;/
Oh I think I will count it out. Unless it becomes a non-facebook game...I'm totally counting it out.

im not saying is a pokemon rip off but it is ver similar, good luck guys make a pokemon-esque game something nintendo neer could
@mentalmetal I'm excited about the possiblity for a sequel, because Insomnaic is well known through Ratchet and Resistance to mix up the gameplay in major ways with each sequel, while Game Freak... are not.
