This was a good game...
That bares repeating:
This was a good game...
Let's just jump right into it: This is the worst patch I have ever seen - This **** makes Bethesda look like they are godly in glitch-testing and that is really saying something. It truthfully makes me sad that this game is no longer playable in its previous form because you have to download the "patch" to play online. I'm not even gonna' bother discussing the DLC that was promised months, and months, and months ago that I would've gladly forked over money for...
-_-
This was such a good game with such potential and now it's just a sad sight to behold. Feel free to post here if you wanna' refund my money guys 'cuz I bought this on launch day and I still feel cheated - The game as it is now is not what I ******* bought.
o_o
Thank you for your goddamn time...

I still feel it is a great game. Matter of fact, it's one of my favorites. It doesn't have the best graphics and it's far from being perfect, but I still enjoy the hell out of it.
Overkill is a small dev team and while they're slow to fix issues and release new content, I'm content to wait for a real fix for known issues and to get quality dlc whenever it's released as opposed to a rushed product.

Didn't notice the topic title got cut off when I posted that (it was supposed to say "The most recent "patch" is a shameful example of when developers can't admit their wrong."

.
Either way, how long did it take them to add
anything to the game? A really, really, long time. I honestly don't see them fixing this or releasing DLC. I hope I'm wrong but this reeks of bad development vibes.
And, I agree, the game was amazing but again that's a big
was - As much as it pains me to admit it you just simply cannot call a game "great" with as many issues that effect the core experience so directly as this game now has. Like I said, that's a damn shame - All they would have to do to fix it is revert back to the older version but they're not going to 'cuz that would be admitting they're wrong...
-_-
RIP Payday - We barely knew yee...

What issues are you having that are affecting you so negatively?

Since the new patch the AI is entirely broken - I joined a game and was completely invisible to the enemy. I would just walk up to a large group of cops that would otherwise be suicide and slowly headshot them one by one because they would not notice me or fire back even though I was within arms reach in front of their faces...
This game is broken...

That's a communication error where you're not syncing completely with the game you're joining. Try to avoid joining games already in progress or if you're hosting, don't allow drop ins. That should help you to avoid the syncing problem in the future or at least until it's fixed.
