I think that the creators were about to run out of puzzles, but lots more are made possible by the 3DS

Oh, so that's why he wears that hat all the time (separate from the other reason), that's some serious hair!
Not sure why but younger Layton's story seems... more interesting than the rest of the plot.
Don't know why but Professor Layton vs Phonix Wright is cooler but this is just awesome.
it would appear that the game will have 365 puzzles, as well as two separate mysteries. Given the quaility this series presents in both of these areas, I'd suspect this will be the 3DS' best launch title in Japan. I'm also interested to learn a bit more of the Professor's backstory.
