1 Like Okay. Let's explore insecurity and sexuality in regards to reality rather than propaganda. This type of game glorifies a biological need beyond its intentions. What is wrong with this? It takes normal sexual desire and perverts it into an addiction and/or focus on satisfying the self at the expense of others and, ironically, the one seeking such perverse outlets. The short term effect is you get your rocks off. The long term effect is that this kind of morbid stimulant is needed and thereby disrupting a normal sexual experience. In the extreme, it is a desire to be acted out at the expense of unwilling individuals. It is why sexual predators are becoming more common. The sexual revolution of the 1970s's brought sexual crimes up substantially as young woman started 'expressing' their sexuality. The insecurity is in the pervert not the one's who denounce this crap because they know what it leads to.
@moc5 That slippery slope argument is crap. Just because a person"gets their rocks off," as you say doesn't make the object of that fleeting desire a morbid thing. I'm sorry you cant see cartoon women without being a pervert who needs to kill hookers, but i think the majority of 13 year old boys who will try this might be just fine. Keep your crazy, half-boiled, psychosexual analysis to yourself.

Focusing on an extreme case of my argument doesnt prove you have argument, or worse calling me the very thing I denounce. Again, brilliant logic there. There is perhaps a case to be made in the form of an opinion on the contrary, however, you obviously are not the one to deliver it. Maybe you should consider a career as a politician with all that hypocrisy double talk.

You do know this is what Japanese people play. They call it "eroge". If this was in japanese they would be ALL over it. The comments I'm reading show a good difference between us and them lol...
1 Like This game won't be releasing on Steam cause of its adult content. That is fine cause its just a waste of space for Mac and PC gamers who are actually true gamers. This deserves to find a spot on Xbox 360 and PS3.
1 Like @DCeric Consoles serve one purpose - to play games. Therefore one would assume a console user is a "true gamer". Apps like this only ever find their way on PC. Your logic is flawed
@NTenseify @DCeric no, your perception is limited. Mindless, shallow game play should be reserved for the console. This crap finds its way onto the PC because of the freedom that that platform offers. It usually inspires bold and unique work, but, unfortunately, allows this ridiculous perversion to find traction as well.
@presauk Fair enough. I respect your opinion on consoles (if only a little. ;), but I really dont think this particular type of game enhances our gaming community. I think it hurts it. I'm not condoning a ban, but rather a community outcry. Without standards we have no reason to care. I love games but wish to preserve a sense of humanity and civility in gaming.
@moc5 @Challak Shallow gaming experience exist everywhere and as x2rufff4u pointed out eroge (which seems limited to PC) is pretty commonplace. I love PC gaming but don't discount console gaming as purely shallow; otherwise you just overlooked shadow of the collosus, Ico, and who knows how many other console exclusive games
7 Like Reading the comments reminds me why Japanese AO visual novels never catch on in the west. Not saying this game is good, but there are way too many insensitive insecure people who are too afraid to open their perceptions and respect the game's genre.
2 Like @Neo_Sarevok Agreed. There's room for adult movies in the film industry but that doesn't suddenly mean action, drama and romantic movies disappear. Why is the game industry so closed-minded towards them?
Frankly, the fact that adult games like Seduce Me are branching out into different genres, such as card games with RPG elements and dialogue choices, is a very good sign. Most adult games aren't anywhere near as high-quality as this seems to be. Not that I've played many but I've seen the screenshots ...
